Hi I am very new player to the Thief Job Class and have a question on Off-hand damage.

 

I'm currently a Level 60 Assassin Cross equipped with a Katar and my off-hand is only doing 1 or sometimes 2 points of damage.

 

I remember when I was Assassin class the off-hand did around 30-40 damage so not sure why damage after rebirthed is only 1-2 damage points.  Am I doing something wrong?

 

I have tried 3 different types of Katar and all have the same off-hand damage output.  Skill build is working towards Crit DD GX so I do have Right/Left hand Mastery as well as Katar Mastery.

Do you have "Double Attack" skill as a thief? because that greatly affects offhand damage on katars

I don't, I skipped Double Attack because of the Crit GX build.  does that mean my offhand will only do 1-2 damage?

yeah, that is why you dont have much damage offhand, on my DD crit GX, using katar my mainhand damage can go up  8k whilst my offhand is only 60~120. so yeah Double attack really plays a role on offhand damage for katars.
