usually I'm being cheap and use Awakening Potion all the time but today I decided to try it on my GX.

 

so wtf is going on? is this a bug or what?

From what I can remember, it's never been usable by assassin jobs.

Awakening should not be a problem

Berserk pot never been usable by GX.. rogue and sc can use it tho

If you really want berserk potion effects, you have to drink a poison bottle like it was an awakening potion. (Don't try that on any other class though besides Asasssins lol)

Assassins always had to struggle less for max aspd compared to other classes, that's since development. Agi build Knights and battle smiths needed greater aspd boost to catch up with assassins dps. Today, after many suns and moons and game rebalance, it doesn't matter who can use if. It's just too late to be changed.

Lol I understand you, pre-renewal assassins can Berserk so when I came back to play I bought like 400 berserk pots thinking it would work on my GX. Then I realized they changed it to GX can't use berserk pots only awakening :X

No, pre-renewal sins were never able to use berserk pots either.

It has been like that from the start.
If you want to use berserk pots, ask a soul linker and alchemist to do it for you.

dude, dont be greedy. Assassin is already an OP class, let that 5% ASPD loss for not be able to use berserk pots as a 'balance'

Even on the berserk pot's description doesn't list sin class

Just drink your own medicine, I mean poison. Serks was never even usable by Sins. Even so, Sin has lesser penalty for aspd that is if you use katar and according to the wiki the poison bottle > serks.
