Hello.

So it's a pretty simple question, I just don't understand much in the subject.

How much Internet Date does rose use more or less?

I'm asking this because in my house, the WiFi is used by 7 computers, 6 phones and a tablet.

So using my WiFi to play Rose is pretty laggy and pretty often d/c.

Hence my question, I'm using my Phone's internet (got 25gb overall), and I'd like to know how much internet is consumed more or less for every hour, or depending on the area/how crowded the place is.

Also leveling, and such.

I want to open shops now, and I don't know if it'll drain all my internet which will be bad. (internet will be on for about 7-10 hours...)

I know it's possible to test that because in some other games people told me how much internet is consumed for each round or so. (as in MB per minute, or so)

Thanks alot to anyone that could help!

Much appreciated in advance.  :p_smile:

Hello,

in the past years I had to use a Mobile Phone Card based Router, wich had a 500Mb of daily internet traffic data cap.

I have been normally playing for months, never hitting the 500Mb limit, I used to play even 8 hours a day (shopping and not...) with 2 Clients open, so , at least let's say in the 2013/2014 I never had issues with it.

I don't know if it can really be of help, but maybe you can have an idea.

See you.

I used to play at a friends house and he would use his mobile network for us to connect to, we spend hours playing and costing somewhere around 100-200mb for a couple of hours.

But ofcourse the more interactions U do in-game the more mb usage.

See you.

According to this the game barely takes any internet usage...

But ofcourse the more interactions U do in-game the more mb usage.

And according to this it takes alot...

So I didn't find my answer yet, but thanks alot for the information!

More knowledge based statements will be awesome  :p_smile:

You could do your own little expriments using some sort of network traffic software.

Logging in (running to junon shops) Time span: 60 Seconds

Standing still doing nothing uses roughly 100Bits per second, when walking around and interacting quickly ups the usage from 200-400 B/s depending on what you are doing.

For example, you could be playing a dungeon and cleaning a room full of spiders, this would generate quit a bit of traffic for things like HP/Mana and the drops from monsters.

Don't forget that U are also uploading :)

I hope this will help U find some answer you in question.

I've used 136Mb's of Data this month playing casually. It doesn't consume much at all.

Yea I can't realy remember the exact details, I was just trying to say that it doesnt use alot of traffic in general

but perhaps it was worth mentioning we were playing with 4 people and each using a 2nd client or a 3rd.

Something you should keep note of, is if you use a wireless signal off your phone like that, your ping is going to be terrible.

That's awesome to hear.

How often do you play/leave shops open tho?

Yea I can't realy remember the exact details, I was just trying to say that it doesnt use alot of traffic in general

Ah, this explains it. Thanks!

It's not terrible, it's just abit less than perfect. The internet connections phones have here (4G ofc) are pretty good. Espcially the signal in my house!

Thank you everyone, much appreciated!
