Whats going on!, why the sudden popularity? what do they have that we dnt? are people in thailand ip blocked from playing IRO? 300k players is insane!

 

one thing is for sure....there is clearly a market for ragnarok in thailand    now we need to find a way to make those 300k players join us

iro can barely handle what they have now, 300k the servers would start nuclear fusion

Spend money on commercials. Ro doesnt have the money to push its self in the media atm. and majority of the people in the internet believe IRO is a private server. Until those to things are fixed i think we will be in a runt a little longer than we wish to be

can anyone confirm if thai ragnarok is currently using a heavy advertising marketing campaign in Thai land? im pretty sure no one here in the UK even knows ragnarok online even exists. 

 

Anime is how ever growing ever more popular here with shows like attack on titan n Tokyo ghoul. If IRO advertise with ANIME written on their stick im sure they would get thousands of new players.

thai pservers usually break 10k~40k day one not a surprise to see an official with a large campaign backing to hit those numbers

We have a new service provider since the previous one ceased operation. Previous servers werent very accomodating to new players but now everything starts anew and Electronic Extreme has said that they would bring back memories of the old days. Also they seem to have a better bot prevention (????).

As of right now new servers only have 2-1 classes while 2-2 and hi classes will only come after a year or two. No op items and cards yet. May be these are why people start coming back to play the game. I dont know but the leveling mechanic seems weird to me.

what ragnarok online should do is have IRO,KRO,JRO,BRO and THAI RO all accessible in one client. After starting the client you would get the option to pick which version RO you wana play  ( like how you would

 

normally pick a server ). Then we could truly be called International ragnarok online.

it requires a -_-load of money.... since they need to create a whole new game package.. thats a huge gambling , they wont take the risk

Because Thai RO is the champion of RWC for many years! Ok not really, this is irrelevant lol

 

RO has always been Thailand's #1 online game. We do love RO. Personal experiences, when I was a kid, I failed almost all midterms because I was too addicted to RO. That's why I was forced to quit. It's until I was in a university that I had a chance to play RO again and I joined iRO.

 

I just got home and I'm about to make a new char in Iris. The server just opened yesterday. Everyone started equally and zeny is absolutely not inflated *cough* iRO's economy xD Stay tuned. I might upload a quick first glance of Iris on my youtube channel tonight or tomorrow if I have time  ^_^v

Yup they are all real players. It is the first day. No bots yet lol

 

iRO's ... 3k players online including bots and afk'ers

 

Also ThRO limits only 2 clients per user. Say by to auto buffers during WoE and alt stasis or alt SDs when we get a 3rd class

You can. I can play it from Canada but I dont think I can WoE. Mhm ... but you'll need a Thai ID citizen # to register your account. This maybe you can bypasss with your randomly-made 13 digit series number? I dont know lol. Also you need to have someone in Thailand to buy you a money card to refill game cash ie kafra point if you want to buy any cash items at all.

They have a gameguard or some-_- like that, the players always stream the gameplay through YouTube, ive met very nice players there, they understand some of my english.
