Well, at first they talk about newsletter, then something wrong happen, they not even try to tell us what "newsletter is" or try to remind what "Newsletter" is and how to make sure the player already subscribed or not.

 

If they want they can just told us to go to the NCP located at Eden 2nd floor to claim the reward, but until now even the problem already solved, there is no official notice on how to obtain the piggy costume.

 

I even believe even the staff their self confused on where/how they must tell every player on Ragnarok about the piggy costume, and how to obtain it.

 

This begin to sound like the staff try to test how smart is the community and how often players use the forum, FB, official site, and Email.

 

If you don't know what a newsletter is then you must not have subscribed to almost ANYTHING on the internet.

 

A guide was released to show players how to make sure they were receiving a newsletter.

 

It's not a test to see how smart, they simply wanted to try another form of advertising and used a free costume as the reward for doing so. The newsletter codes failed so they took the list of those subscribed (minus Steam users because they didn't get noticed) prior to the finish date of the promotion and gave everyone an opportunity to get the costume via code the redeemer.

What kind of person has never heard of a newsletter? Even Amish communities have newsletters.

and apparently, posting something in the patch notes about getting the costume from Code the Redeemer isn't considered "official notice"

there should be another chance their statement is vague they only said you only have to be a subscriber on newsletter all of my accounts are subscribed ever since i migrated here some get and others dont.

I subscribed the newsletter on my steam account, I get the e-mail saying something about the code, I log-in into my oldest account and my oldest char and that Code Redeemer guys list is f'kin empty!

 

do I need to sent a ticket just to get a pig costume on my head? have waited for few days now and still nothing...  :wall:

Steam accounts being in a separate database to other types of RO accounts meant they inadvertently missed the first insertion of costume rewards, but they'll be going in to fix that this week it seems.

Please check the following:

  1. Must have Newsletter subscription on before July 27.
  2. Right now only available on Renewal servers.
  3. The headgear has been inserted on the oldest registered RO1 ID on your Warpportal account. See my post here for instructions.
  4. If the oldest account was registered through Steam then you need to wait till Monday/Tuesday.

well my oldest account was from steam and I registered that account to WP, I did get the costume.

It should be the oldest RO1 account on your WP account. No more codes to input cause that was messed up. So, basically it's 1 for every WP account.
