I've tried the common solutions I've found online with elevating RO through a shortcut, but when I run it, it runs a naked patcher with only two Korean buttons. Not the normal iRO patcher.

I'm shortcutting from this: C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragnarok.exe

 

Not a big deal, but I'd like to keep UAC on if I can.

Try setting the shortcut's "Start in" folder.

changing the "start in" part to the location of ragnarok.exe doesn't change anything :/

 

 

EDIT: it worked. I thought you were talking about the start in folder in the shortcut. It should be edited in the task scheduler itself

PS. Is there a chance that future patches would mess up with the shortcut?
