Hello, about to job change on my sniper to ranger and I am doing a stat reset, as the stats I leveled with will not work with AS build so, with that in mind I have a few questions and I am not sure if the wiki page is up to date and yes i tried google so hopefully someone can help. Also the Ranger guide that is sticked in here.. leaves more questions then answers so please don't refer me to it.

 

Also while I don't really have much zeny I do have this for gear:

+7 Elven bow

Full WW set

Shadow gears (only at +4 currently waiting on certs)

Robo eye

Pencil in mouth

 

 

1.) What is an ideal stat set up for 99 or level 100? The wiki guide has a suggested build I just don't know if its up to date. I want to be pure AS. Also I used heavy lifter boxes so I don't need any str for consumables or arrows.  

As I will only be able to do this once (I don't have the zeny to reset more then once), I really want to get this right.

 

2.) Should I skill reset too and get all the traps? It doesn't really seem necessary BUT since I don't know please give me your opinion.

 

3.) Should I buy a sound amp? I can afford them as long as they stay below 50mil.

 

4a.) Whats a good cheap top headgear? By cheap I mean something I can either make myself via in game quest, or can buy for less then 20mil (assuming I buy sound amp).

4b.) Or just tell me what headgear to save up zeny for and I will get that eventually

 

5.) Lastly what are some good cards for the WW set, Elven Bow and Sound Amp (If I need to buy one)?  I know this probably comes down to what I am doing but I will likely just be leveling and doing TI mostly normal stuff.  If I shouldn't bother to card it any of it yet thats fine too

1. 80+ DEX 80+ VIT 50+ INT
2. It is ideal to at least get the prerequisites for Electric Shock, as this trap is very useful
3. Sound AMP is a nice accessory to pair with WW Brooch; I would recommend a phen card with it.
4. Just save up for an Autumn Headband, best in slot for a AS Ranger (especially at +9)
5. I would leave your Elven uncarded or if you must, use an Archer Skeleton; your suits should be loaded with elemental armour cards (Pasana, Dokebi, Evil Druid etc) and a phen for your sound amp is pretty useful

Just to inform you, you cannot upgrade shadow armours with certificates, the only known special method of upgrading comes in the form of a shadow refine event.

 

Also, Elven is perfectly fine... but eventually you will want a Big Crossbow, at +9 it will do more than an Elven Bow and it can be enchanted and have two slots as opposed to one.

 

While I recommended Archer Skeleton cards for weapon, if you plan to eventually MVP then maybe leave them unslotted for some Abysmal Knight cards, as they are pretty damn good for MVPs.

My first statement was that I wasn't sure if the wiki page is up to date. I already know where its located. Thanks for the  uhh link, however since just linking is doesn't say "yes its kept updated" then I will just go by the advice I have gotten from others through PM and this topic.
