I'm wondering what the class is that has the greatest ability to lockdown enemies (stun, freeze, debuffs, etc)? And is this a moot point once the higher levels hit, as bosses are probably immune to stuff? Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure but afaik, Rangers can hit lock enemies where they won't be able to move. Technically locked down but it's not really because of debuffs or negative statuses.

 

No idea for classes like that for PVP purposes.

 

I'm not really much in the know hows of this game though.

Shadow Chasers can give a variety of debuffs either through their skills or their gears, Performance if I remember correctly can deliver lots of debuff as well

severe rainstorm with 4 different status card on composite bow, using status arrow also. and other status inflicting autocast.

The Only class with debuffs that effect the boss still are chasers and GX's, the manual divests from the rogue stage and all the GX damage increasing debuff skills.
