Since we were not able perform the expected Battlefield desired during the Ethergian Olympics we are having a rematch with a few minor changes.  The titles will still be in play as a reward, however for those who earned the titles previously you will need to fight to keep it.   
 
(Titles have been distributed.  If you were supposed to get the previous participation title, but have not received it, you may still need to write into Helium on the forums.  Also please specify which character you would like the title on.)  
 
Rules: 

Some Basics on the design of the Tournament.

• Entries will be by Team.
• Characters will be provided, by granting access to accounts temporarily which are made for this purpose and controlled by staff.
• Teams will be 1 Character of each playable race but the Specific 2nd Jobs are up to the Players/Teams. 

Notes:
Teams are to consist of 1 master, 3 members, and an optional substitute.

Battlefield Tournament Specific Awards:
* Members of the 1st place team (including 1 Master, 3 Members and 1 Sub) may choose the character on an account registered to them to receive:
-- I. The title [Lord] or [Lady] placed into the character name
-- II. The visual effect only given to tournament winners (electric fists) 
-- III. This tournament is a repetition of the Ethergian Olympics Tournament. Therefore prices will also be 1st place: 1 month Premium + 1000 free points; 2nd place: 7 days Premium + 500 free points; 3rd place: 3 days Premium + 200 free points

Teams

Qualification and Participation
Must be signed up in advance on our official forum thread:https://forums.warpp...rd-team-signups

Teams will be contacted by the host via forums, in-game or otherwise before each match.
Temporary Access Credentials will be given and the teams prepare for the match in the GM Room.

 

 

Teams are expected to gear up as quickly as possible (approximately 15 minute staging period before matches).

 

 

Accounts/Characters Access and Preparation

Characters will be provided by the host to participants in advance of each match.

In between matches and prior to team staging for each match all items are wiped and skills reset on Tournament Characters.

Special NPC Merchants will be made available for participants to prepare the Characters before each match.

 

NPC Item Lists to include:

- Job Change Items
- Mythic level 89 weapons; Potens Nightmare and Potens Terror level 89 armor sets; Nova/Lintra/Valdes level 89 accessory sets and weapons; Wrecked Toy Ball/Torn Teddy Bear/Bloody Doll level 79 ornaments

Enchanting, compounding and/or reinforcing WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
 
More than 20 accounts have been set up in advance for use in the tournament. The characters are already distributed to teams according to the characters name. There are 5 accounts assigned to each team. 4 of the 5 accounts contain 1 character of each race. The 5th account contains 4 characters (one of each race) and is for the substitute to stand by in case needed to keep the character race count on each team, the substitute will be prepared to take the place of any one dropped team member. 

Prefab Characters are grouped together and will be assigned to the signed up teams throughout the tournament.
Your designation may change from match to match of one of the following:   Alpha   Beta   Gamma   Delta

 

 

Matches

 

Match Configuration and Details
 

- Free Battle
- Field of Contention (Yakt Island) Map
- 30 minutes with the greater number of kills or 50 kills to win
- Disconnection from the Service during a match in progress is unfortunate and will result in your team having a handicap for whatever time remains, as it is not possible to rejoin the battle.
- GM, CM and VM Administrative Characters will also join the battle but will not appear on status nor will they participate in the battle except to observe.
- Depending on the number of teams enter as of the beginning of the tournament, we may run single elimination or expand this if more teams sign up.

Substitute can be any race?

The substitute has to replace the race of the player he is replacing.

Another option would be that another player of the team which is not the substitute replaces the missing race and the substitute replaces the race of the player that replaced the originally missing race. (Jeez I could have done a lot of replacing in that sentence)

 

Otherwise every team would constantly play with their substitute to have for example two radiants (or two defilers or two berserkers or one Defiler and one Assassin....you get what I mean) in their team.
