I've got a merchant at level 35, working towards AGI chemist build. however, I've got no idea what gear would be useful. I mean, weapons I can handle. I've got a Fireblend(brand?) waiting for him to use at level 40. the rest is cash shop stuff, other gear, etc. I'm terrible at that stuff. any recommendations? 

 

Also, I'm broke, hence the new merchant. I've only got a 71 Asssassin. And even he's under-geared besides a Morrigane's Helm that was given and some elemental katars for AX jobs.

For Merchant use full Cart revolution, you dont even need cash shop items, well maybe a BMX3 if you want leveling very fast, then when you get Blacksmith / Alchemist job use Mammonite with earth converter vs harpys+Bounty Juno= 99/50 very easy~

I'd agree on getting Cart Revo as soon as you can. Awesome skill! That being said, Alchies are pretty good all rounders... Stack your cart with whatever is heavy and enjoy the revos! For equipment though, you do get very good use from Eden equipment and axes.

And yes, Fire blend is pretty good. I'm not totally sure if your LUK plans are, but Crystal Pumps are great footgear.

Definitely do the Eden equipment quests at levels 40 and 60 too! My recommendation for an AGI based build is to go for axes and get the Alch skill that boosts it's damage.

eden equips for the win its 0 weight means more stuffs to carry and good stats perfect for newly made i use that a lot even in lvl 99
