I am a poor and noob GX (Rolling Cutter build) with a morrigane's set and malicious durga.

 

I want to aim for higher end gear but being poor, I want to know what gear I should aim for first (e.g. headgear/weapon/armor/garment) to earn the most zeny.

 

From my little research online, I'm saving up for the following items (in this order)

1. +9 HBD/FAW
2. +9 Rideword Hat
3. +9 Malicious Thanatos Katar

Also does Advanced ROR and ROFL work well with his build?

But yeah you have everything pretty much set.

I suggest getting Temporal Str Boots with Fighting Spirit enchant too. Just get one with an FS4 will do.

Adv RoR might interrupt your RC. Just use RoFL if you have it. Otherwise, get what you have already listed first.

HBP will be more usefull than FAW in terms of making money through loot because it gives you access to greed, enabling faster looting.

Rwh doesnt "requires" to be +9, a +0 one can do most of the job already, but of you can get a +9 then why not? :v

And adv.rofl/ror arent really usefull. ROR will interrupt your RC casting it's skills, and ROFL wont proc anything unless you autoattack, just the 20atk and fire resistance would be used there.

Didn't know that's how ROR and ROFL worked so I will make sure to avoid them.

RoR = activated when u receive physical attack
RoFL = activated when u do physical attack

You may want to just farm your own thanatos katar instead of paying for a +9 one, those typically go for 200+ mil but you can farm your own in a week and +7 it using some certs (3-6 probably) which will be far cheaper than buying a +9. 

 

Also, check out the threads in the thief sub forum. There's already a bunch of discussion about gear/builds/leveling/etc.

Oh thanks! Didn't know about the thief sub forum. Will definitely try farming thanatos katar instead now that I've read the ghost place instance isn't too hard.
