Huh, those are not bad at all. It's like a miniature combo of backpack + faw + temp boots rolled together. 

 

Nice budget stuff, but probably individually outclassed. But nice to give those options to people. 

 

I like how kRO just openly admits that this game needs teleport and greed to be fun now, though. 

 

edit: given the refine effects ($$$$$$$$), I wonder if you can do the quest for more eden gear of if you're stuck with the ones you get? Can they be enchanted too? I guess we'll find out in 69 years.

NPC the lower-tier ones as and when you get the higher-tier.

work hard for what? eden gears are one of the most effortless gears to be gained. usually the quest is totally easy. if you dont like eden gears to flood your inventory, just dont do them in the first place. lets face it, eden gears sucks, it aims for new player who cant afford expensive and luxury gears. let them have their share of well being. settled people dont need to bother with that, just focus on FAW, temp boots, RWC accs, HWHB and such.

I dislike that the "noob starter gear" is becoming cash shop/refine dependent as well. Unless you can refine them via quest, thing's are getting a bit petty IMO.

 

Still, even at +0, they are useful for people who don't have a good setup and/or are a rebel.

But it's most likely that it's gonna have its own special kind of upgrade system that's exclusively done in Eden HQ. Like no breaking chance only failure chance and upgrading to +9 (or beyond) can only be done by completing certain series of quests which will give one the eligibility to upgrade for the next level, not by simply having upgrade ores in your inventory. Pretty rough idea and may sound laborious but should be a fair trade for the unbreakability of the gears in question.

What I do hope tho is that they exclude the Eden Gears from their pay-2-win way of upgrading by requiring cash shop items for upgrade attempts. Eden Gears ought to be Newb and Poor-friendly.

yeah, i prefer that one also. similar to copper dragonhelm which act like safe to +20 certificate for copper and silver helm.
so, there should be a daily quest which reward an item that acts like a safe to +9 cert for those eden gears.
