A question for the community from iRo : Why leaving the people the game ? The typical reason is : old game

there is other reasons ?Unfair partys,game chat to silent?contact with noobs ? Have new Player in this game good chance as beginner ? How is the community ?

Reason why people leaving:
1. Busy IRL
2. Their friends leave
3. They banned
4. They scammed
5. They do nothing but banned.
6. RnG God hate them (like someone failed make +10 after using 10 cert....1b)
7. Nothing to do anymore (new episode and cute doram will come soon. But they still leaving)
8. ..........

Warp Portal should seriously revisit their GM team. That's one of the main reason people are leaving this game.

Never seen such unprofessional employees in my whole life.

idk tho, I'm thinking about quitting too (still got 4 months of vip...), I don't really have time to spend grinding/leveling these days and doesn't look like it'll change in the future.

Yes, we are getting new content, unfortunately it is arriving too late........I had hoped for more ways to level past 150, that did not rely on parties or uber gears to do so.......but alas, it's just not meant to be.......hell, even some of the new crimson weapons are only good in a pre-renewal setting........

8. Slow response ticket in a very big problem

I am sorry, i know GM work hard. But a friend was scammed and need 3 weeks to fix the problem. The scammer was not banned and free to try to scam again. Lol. This case made the friend focus on other games. Even the problem fixed, he choose to leave RO. And his best friend follow him. This case also increase stress lvl of the ticket sender (the scammer use her name) After another problem come, she leave RO.

I don't want to blame anyone. But we need better action about this.

It's not so much the response time( which ranges from an hour or weeks ), it's the fact that for most things one would need to pm Campitor so that he could fix the issue, which wasn't fair to him..........that combined with attitude of the WoE guilds being so snobbish is what finally made me quit after 11 years of loyal playing

Even tho iv been/am vip forever, i aint been playing the game at all for a few months ( wasting all my vip   ). Personally I haven't had any incentive to esp since towards the end of my active daily playing the game became more and more a solitary experience and with it the fun factor it self diminished.

 

I joined many well known pve only instance guilds for activities but they only had a few online sometimes and even they wanted to do instances solo so they could keep all the profit to themselves. So many regular players i got to know have quit so day after day i was doing the same instances alone which was extremely boring. The rewards arn't worth the time required to fund overpriced gears in their billions.

In the end i was only logging in and hanging out in south prontera field to kill some time but now theres no one there either....only 1 or 2 people who are forever afk

 

The thing that killed it for me was forcibly having to do instances alone on a class and build i didn't like only for zeny...i had no fun doing this. ( the class/build i did wana play was overpriced in billions by the people making 1.5 bil zeny a week using macro program on woe vending machine )

 

i think when the coming 16.2 episode comes il have some fun again with lindy hop sword for RK but thats many months away.

 

The most important thing for any game is to be fun......if you dnt have that then...

 

I think someone needs  to take drastic immediate action before things get worse......can we get CM/warpportal CEO official response?

Or maybe the bots just decided RO isn't worth their time/bandwidth anymore and are leaving on their own. I still can't believe anyone buys zeny nowadays when you can just buy kafra boxes and resell.

Not really sure if this is a discussion for the forums. But for those curious we can talk! Although the official numbers are a bit higher it is pretty close to what we are tracking as the numbers for the server.

 

The major factors as far as we can tell are the following;

• A period with slow updates (Last update before this week was in May) So players have seen most of our current content and are looking for something to do.
• Pokemon Go (A few people left their computers to go walking everyone. Even in the office they would goto the park and walk around during their lunch break)
• Summer Coming to a close. We still have a surprising number of students within the community.

What are we doing to address this;

 

Well as you know we have several updates coming down the pipe. 16.1, Doram, Horror Toy Story Dungeon all should be arriving this year. We are also working with the studio to allow for more iRO exclusive quests and content including the US Theme Town which will be arriving in early 2017. One of our biggest priorities when discussing the future with the studio is fixing bugs and the studio even visiting us to have face to face and if there is time they are willing to do a Q & A session on Tiki Tuesday (with a translator)

 

We also have several fun seasonal events and new headgears and items that are being worked on. I am looking forward to the second half of the year with this community and hope you will as well.
