Lets make a thread where collect all the places we get the DC due to abnormal client status. It has occured many for me times and mostly its around specific areas. This really affects the gameplay experience badly especially when you are at the end of a map (Elga for an example)

 

Areas:

F7 maps

Event maps

Elga dungeon

 

It does not happen in the field maps so far. The char im using is a dragoon and im using it all the same on all maps. Many would say its because skills are being canceled before they are being performed at its full animation. But i have examples when i get DC anyway even if i let the animation to complete. And it can happen in between when i just move my character forwards.

 

I never get DC in the same way when i play with my Overlord.

This bug is really annoying. It keeps coming at certain areas, and it messes up my day.

Is it considered as a try to break the game ? Because I have this kind of disconnections as well sometimes. I cancel spells that can be canceled to win some time which is precious in PvP or even in PvE. If it is considered as game-breaking, I think you should make all the spells uncancellable then. Because when it happens it is annoying since it happens like randomly.

Skills are never supposed to be cancelled.

 

And I think the problem when trying to solve this is approx' "the former team left us a messy code".

Either that, or my memory started to be broken.

Theoretically yes - as Rainnowx said - we are working on it, but that is not that easy.

That is not quite correct. There are skills stating in their descriptions that they can be canceled. These skills are meant to be canceled all the others are - like you said - not.

Ohh , so this is the case. I've been farming today and I have experienced this around 10x already! i thought it was my connection at first but then this?! why oh why.
