Hello,

 

Here are the results of the matches that happened so far. But first of all some short information on how it was planned.

There should have been at least 2 prerounds with random pairings (I tried to make it Swiss rounds but my software on that did not cooperate) to determine the four best teams out of the six teams that signed up.

Those four teams then were supposed to compete in the semi-finals. Winners of those face each other for the grand final, losers face each other to determine the third place.

Now here it is how it turned out.

 

Round 1:

Team 1PunchMan vs Team Pizza 

Team 1PunchMan never logged into the tournament accounts. That resulted in an autoloss and a DQ for them.

(As a side note: If you watched the stream and followed the chat, at one point I was confused on which team actually got the DQ and accidentally mentioned a DQ for Team Pizza. This happened because there had been issues with team Pizza too and everything was pretty busy already anyways)

 

Team HeavenlyDevils vs Team 14.5sm

Team 14.5sm won this round 50 - 0

 

Team PoderLatino vs Team The Souless Machines

This time again one of the teams (PoderLatino) never showed up and I haven't been able to contact their members ingame. Again autoloss and DQ

With two DQs in the very first round of the tournament we decided to skip prerounds from there and directly go into the semi-finals. That also meant that Team HeavenlyDevils got very lucky and had been allowed to participate in the semis even if they lost their match.

 

 

Semi-Finals:

Team Pizza vs Team Souless Machines

 

This is where the huge upset of the tournament happened.

Right at the start of the match one team member of Team Souless Machines seemed to DC. On a very fast investigation on this it turned out, that he got intentionally booted because someone else managed to login that specific character. Therefore this does not count to the rule "disconnect is unfortunate and results in a handicap". Further investigation will be done and further actions against the player that made this unfair move might be taken.

 

 

Team HeavenlyDevils vs Team 14.5sm

 

This match had no serious problems except one disconnect for one player of team 14.5sm. Again Team 14.5sm won 50 - 3.

Team 14.5 sm is the first team to advance to the grand final.

Team HeavenlyDevils will compete in the small finals for 3rd place.

 

Semi-Finals rematch between Team Pizza and Team Souless Machines:

Spoiler

Team Pizza showed up completely. Unfortunately only one player of Team Souless showed up to the match.

This player showed bravery in facing the opposing team alone.

Right at the start of the match Team Pizza lost one member most likely due to a disconnect which made the match a 3 vs 1.

Our brave lonesome player even managed to score a kill.

The match ended 44 - 1 for Team Pizza which proceeds to the grand final on Saturday.

Small Final for 3rd place

 

Team HeavenlyDevils (playing as Alpha) vs Team Souless Machines (playing as Beta)

 

Team Souless Machines wins this match 50 - 25 and is awarded the third place in the tournament.

 

 

 

Grand Final

 

Team 14.5sm (playing as Gamma) vs Team Pizza (playing as Delta)

 

Team 14.5sm suffers a los of one member due to a DC very early in the match.

In the end Team Pizza wins 28 - 8.

 

 

Final results of the tournament:

 

1st place: Team Pizza

 

2nd place: Team 14.5sm

 

3rd place: Team Souless Machines
