Sera's dmg reduction skill PK. You will realize that the dmg is lacking due to the lack of Pyro. Hence using more Hurricane Fury.
For Dieter, default shield for mvping and everything.
It's pretty much even, just that for pyro, you'll have to wait for the skill to end before you can change weapons

Thanks for the answer, i think i'll go for Dieter, try to be more useful at ET with itSera's dmg reduction skill PK. You will realize that the dmg is lacking due to the lack of Pyro. Hence using more Hurricane Fury.

Just curious, how do Genes w/o Sera level? Will Dieter's AoE skill be enough to kill mobs before they reach me?
Before I took a 2 or 3 year break from RO, I leveled my Gene via Bounty Boards and occasional TI's, I didn't bother leveling my Homun until now. General purpose of this Gene was for FCP and etc.
I tried NCT once and it was difficult, could't even kill 4-5 big bells with CC w/o my HP being reduced to 1/4 or 1/2.

Or you can kite around and not let mobs touch you
Or go gx-esque and get some hp leech stuff(+reducs)

When you tele your very tanky dieter will take the damage, make sure magma flow is up and then you finish up the mobs with CC, obviously keep Pyro up.
I personally think it's better if you go for faster cast instead of more damage in that situation, especially if have to use more than one CC to finish the mobs.
If your dieter is still low level go afk and lmax level it also don't forget to use pet cat + fish.

Is it worth getting Blood Lust? My Amstir is now lvl 98 and has neutral intimacy. I want to have it mutated into Sera ASAP so that I could start MVP hunting/Leveling.

Starting stats are fixed based on the homunculus. Stat growth is random within a range determined by the homunculus and the type of growth (level up, evolution, mutation). See http://forums.irowik...8990#msg1338990.
I created a stat distribution calc to play with. For example, you can see that amistr->sera, if mutated (changed to homun S) at level 99, only has a 38.4% chance to hit the stat cap for int at level 150--and it rapidly gets worse the longer you delay changing to homun S.
I just saw this post in the Homun section. Re posting here cause it seems that it doesn't get much views on that thread.
So does this mean that I have to evolve Amstir upon reaching 99 to get the highest probability of getting the stat cap for int at level 150?. Mine is now 99 but still at Neutral intimacy, I plan to have it reach loyal intimacy for the hidden skill.
If I understood this correctly it all boils down between getting High Int or Blood Lust, I would prefer the latter.

You can have both, just keep feeding towards Loyalty and make sure it doesn't level up (always vaporized in fields etc), once you are finally Loyal put the points into the skill and then do the Homu S quest
