Hey,

This probably seems ridiculous to ask on such a simple quest in the scheme of quests. I used to play a few years ago, but have just now started playing again. I'm trying to be a muse and eventually a mage again.

I'm on the quest to become a muse. Currently level 21.

I remember this quest being A LOT simpler back when I used to play, but it doesn't even seem like the flanae are even dropping seeds that I need to bring to Tryteh for the quest.

What is going on? What do I do? Is it supposed to be taking foreverrr for this quest?

the flanae drops will not stored in your inventory , but in your quest menu, check your quest

Also, check if you have the "Kill 20 Flanae" quest, that quest may be disrupting the Muse quest, as in both you have to kill both monsters to get an item that you don't receive in your inventory but your quest menu.

Thanks so much for the help! I figured out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't sure where Flanaes were located and I was just killing Red, Old, and Big Flanaes.

The maps are a bit different from when I used to play.

I'm now a level 42 muse.
