Hey guys. Im planning on making a stalker at the moment and i wonder how the skill steal works (or the passive steal of the rogues)

I saw this formula in internet and i dont know how this works. I also read that it only steals the first two items? I'm really confused right now.

Also, which is better, manual stealing or the passive stealing?

autosteal will be bad if the monster died before the item got stolen, while in manual steal, you will get a guaranteed item since you can always try stealing until you get an item.

 

the item stolen behaviour seems similar to drops, while you can steal 7 items from monsters drop table. The 8th item cant be stolen, and mostly 8th item are monster cards.

steal only work once /monster

autosteal work once /monster

monster drop when killed.

 

so you could get 3 item from monster ?

more than 8 item per monster, since monster drops can be more than 1. steal only work once, either by manual or autosteal.

auto-steal: no MP consumption.(better but... if auto steal is only put on GX)
