The point of this thread is to hopefully give people good advice on what to upgrade.
Please include what you want to potentially upgrade and what you want to use it for IE: PvM, WoE, PvP
If you are on the fence about upgrading a weapon for example, post your other gears if possible so that people can better understand your situation.

The current event may never come around again, so it is a great opportunity to get highly upgraded items that you may want or need.

i wonder what i should upgrade first? my teeth(whiteniing and bracing) or my skin? i aim to make fuyukikun my husbando

i am full time pvm player wondering what i should try (because of my limitation on monies department i only got 100 hd ori) to upgrade

 

+ 10 tsod for my sorc or +10 bxb for my ranger

 

my current sorc (168) gears

 

+9 sc clean

+10 tsod sp 5/4

jinn marin baloon

+9 faw sp 17

shield is variable depend on da mobs (planning to make +12 bunnies shield if the refine rate been fixed)

temp dex sp5

2x rwc pendant sp3/3

using spellflow shadow gear

 

my ranger (152, as build) gears

+9 ahb

+ bdm [1] clean (planning to put aa card for the sp)

+ jin marin baloon

+10 bxb no enchant (because im poor /sob)

+9 ww suit ea2

+9 ww mant fighting spirit 6

+4 ww shoes sp 250 sohee card (dont judge me, i can feel you judge me, staaahp)

ww brooch no good enchant

sound amplifier

 

just using the generic shadow gears

 

in terms of farming (hazy, cursed swordman quest, airship raid, malangdo culvert, jitter, sometimes ogh, and lvl  3 weps and sound ampli farming), i like to use both. tho sorc is lacking in damage department in higher lvl area, it still efficient because i can generate sp and be overweight up to 89%. My ranger weakness is in sp pool, which makes instance can be quite longer because i need to sit (running out of straws too quick :/) or use elven bow. so i still not sure about raising the bxb (but i heard it makes you easier to get party in bio4 if you got overupgraded bxb)

I feel like you should focus on the sorc if you're investing in the mad bunny shield.

Is x amount of dollars/ores worth the extra 25 Atk you get for 1 higher upgrade? Up to you. Realistically, no. It won't make a noticeable difference.

aha guess ill stay @ +13 (if they dont rollback +10 and above lol)

 

its just i still got a lot of leftover hd carniums after upgrading my items (only got 3 +10 items so thats it)

i don't really know what to upgrade below +10.

 

seems like there's only few options, even for +10 and above.

 

edit : crimson and thana are good, but it still looks limited imo.

Bio5 Headgears out class it in general at very early enchant levels when comparing to a +12.

 

Even at +20, I Bio5 hat would creep up to it quite quickly and be consistent as opposed to % based.

 

And on a side note for hitlock Rangers, the transformation phase "CAN" break hitlock.
