The purification stone disappears after a set amount of time to prevent abuse, probably you have missed it.

There was no ETA from Camp when server up (you must check 24/7 the forum), so sorry for anyone who "missed" purification stone.

Why was it implemented? Maybe to allow us to reset ET timers?

Do you actually think someone whose ET got spoiled 3 hours back would be still on and be aware that you guys are gonna implement reset timer for ET(or rather even be aware of any such thing existing)

 

So in short it was implemented for a lucky few people who keep their eyes on ro 24*7. Irrespective of the fact that they actually did screw up their ET or not.

The problem with leaving it up is that it is a poorly scripted NPC.

 

From what I understand people will rush the first 5 or 10 floors of ET and repeat this while the stone is up with gum.

 

Realistically an NPC should be present to reset an instance providing there was a server restart.

That is easy, message was passed down to our responsible gm that server will be down in 5 minutes. He took a minute to finish the office flirting, and another 2 minutes going to the gents, when he's back on his seat, took another minute trying to recall what he is missing out. By the time he recalled the job he was suppose to finish and presenting the notice to the community, 5 seconds was all that is left for a server down. Cheers.

It was about 10PM when they did the reset. The stone was up at 12:45PM almost 3 hours for a reset. Further, this late people want to sleep. That's maintenance grounds. I don't blame the people that are mad. IT/GMS need to pick better times to do these things.

 

Moreover, you have patch notes use them. Not everyone uses the forums. This is how we loose new players.

 

Realistically with the reset, all active instances should reset. Oh wait kRO is too lazy to program/script it. People would able to take their instance when they get back and not hate your guts.

Yes, thats BULL-_- for the ones who started the instances and didn't stay up 3 hours extra for the purification stone...
