Does it reduce 20% less damage from a boss type demi-human monster? It says 10% less damage from boss type and demi-human.

multiplicative, not additive.
so you get 90% dmg from boss, and another 90% from demi human, resulting 90%*90% = 81% dmg

0.9 x 0.9 = 0.81

So you first bash fuyukikun then you edit your post... funny and pathetic, he said you take 81% damage 

but on topic, yeah the ak helm reduces damage from both, but its not worth that much since killing and MVP faster is the best way to reduce damage (it may be pretty good against bio lab mvps if you are a sura or something i guess)
