Hi everyone I'm new to Ragnarok Online here, but I've been looking around the wiki and all and I'm really interested in the Carga mace

However, I've seen some debate about the weapon. Some say that it can be equipped by the rune knight and royal guard class while others say that it cannot.

Does anyone here know which is true?

Just tried it on my RK, and yeah it can be equipped.

 

Crimson Mace > Carga Mace tho.

^ thanks a bunch, I don't know how to get the crimson mace though. Do you have a link to where i can find the quest?

No quest. They are most easily dropped by Green Petites west and north of Geffen, or you can just buy them from other players. 

 

You'd need to refine it to +10 or higher for it to really outshine the Carga tho, which with the current refine event is actually doable.

Thanks one more question can you help me clarify the formula for attack in the crimson mace?

The wiki says this:ATK + (Upgrade Level * Upgrade Level) up to a maximum Upgrade Level of 15. 

This item is indestructible in battle.

For every 10 base levels, ATK + 5.

 

Also, you are not joking right? About the carga mace being able to be equipped in RK?

I'm sorry for doubting, but it just the wiki says it can only be equipped by Mechanic, Genetic, and Acolyte Class

Guess the description is wrong. 

 

 

How the crimson weapons work is this. 

 

1) For every 10 levels AFTER 70, you get +5 equip attack. This means that at level 175, you cap out at an extra +50 attack.

2) For every refine up to +15, you gain an additional equip attack bonus that is the square of the refine. So, at +7, it is +49 attack. At +10, it is +100 attack. At +15, which is the cap for this bonus, you get +225 attack. 

3) It is a level 3 weapon that gains the normal weapon attack bonus per refine.

 

4) It is randomly enchanted with an element from any of the following when it is dropped by an enemy: fire, earth, water, wind, shadow, holy, neutral. 

 

You can buy them from others, or you can farm your own -- my suggestion is to get a neutral or holy mace, as those are the most versatile elements.
