Hello and well met

I only tried this game around a week on 2008 I believe - didnt play further as I was busy with other games. I am hoping to make a melee and tanky or at least somewhat tanky character, I guess I should start with swordman without being sure after it. Also not 100% sure on stats allocation. Moreover while I made a char on chaos server(and havent picked class yet on it) I chose the server randomly because I dont know the difference between the two servers there. Apart from that, I didnt check it but what is the difference between classic and normal Ragnarok?

While I'm not the most knowledgeable, (So I'd wait for someone that actually knows what they're talking about to answer this) Swordsman wise, Rune Knight is pretty well rounded and resilient. That path would be, Novice->Knight-> You cap out and rebirth into a High Novice, then a High Knight, then Lord Knight and into Rune Knight.

Classic and Chaos Renewal are quite different, Classic doesn't have 3rd classes (Rune Knight, Geneticist, etc) The cap in Classic is 99 iirc, Super Novices can't expand etc.

More people play on Renewal though, but it doesn't hurt to try both when you get the chance, you may like classic's feel.

3.Thief Class 

4. Assassin not Rogue(if you like despair) 

5. Agi 90 & Dex 90. 

 

if you turn level 100 or level 110

you can abandon this class if you want (i doubt) 

 

use Youtube & google for searching some

job change, item event quest, check all class in farming mobs and http://ragi.al/ (so you can know the right item price)
