So, i've been hunting cards in NCT2 for a week now, for 1-2 hours a day (7 days, or equal to 14 hours). 

I was using DB RK to farm faster.

And so far, i only got ONE big ben card, it was on 4th day. Until now, no neo punk card dropped. Been using 1 HE gum a day (total 7 gums used till today) and still no luck.

hood [1] has drop chance of 0,08%, while card is 0,01% (i think iRO is 0,02% default). And i already got 16 hoods so far. and no card yet.

WHAT???

I should have already got 2 neo punk cards by now (or 4 if card rate is 0,02%). This RNG is -_-.

This why i never look at numbers. I only have two choices in my brain; 'It drops' or 'It doesn't drop'.

I find thinking this way is much better both to my mental sanity and to my stress.

so im not the only one. ive been hunting since the cards were released. only got 2 big ben cards. no neo punk. and its the core card of the combo.

 

have used a lot of gums since then still nothing. ive gotten a lot of hoods and that baby pacifier lol

 

they should seriously increase the neo punk mobs there or drop rate.

It seems to me to be like this with almost every card, excluding mob density. Waaay back when did a farm for Harpy card, went for 3days of grind/farm, got nothing. GX class walks by, kills some Harpies, drops a card and leaves it. Thanks!! 10 minutes later, I kill a Harpy and get a card. T_T

ahaha, youre seriously asking that question?? they have something you dont. they use a roBot to do it

 

btw, those bots in nct2 at thor that were reported are still there last i checked. its been over a week now.

 

maybe theyre getting all the cards.

It's this mentality that causes people to feel self-justified about things not going their way, whether it's through upgrading or hunting for cards.

There's a possibility that you may not even get a card during the first week, or the first 10 HE gum. When you're hunting things with a low rate or gambling through upgrades, you have to ACCEPT the fact that things won't go the way you expect it to.

For example, back in pre-renewal I spent 3 days to look for an SS card (trip crit jur op) for a girl I like (which could be a dude, who knows). I never got it after 3 days of heal bombing of mid 2. It changed the way I feel about hunting for a monster card.

For a more recent example, I tried to upgrade this RPB to +10, 52 times. Spent maybe over $250 worth trying to upgrade and it's still at +7.

These experiences tilted me, however it's how the game is. If you decide to take high risks, you need to learn to accept the worse outcome possible. However, people will always find a reason to make themselves feel they're a victim. "OH I AM GETTING UNLUCKY CAUSE I SHOULD'VE GOTTEN WHAT I WANTED ALREADY BECAUSE I SPENT X AMOUNT OF MONEY AND Y AMOUNT OF TIME."

Talking about drop rate, I've had it worse lol

 

I used to hunted Tao in summoner 3 days straight, killing Tao 3 times with HE gum. I didnt get the card at all. So I gave up. -_-ing RNG ...

I also hat the way this game works for almost everything. There should be a quest: Kill 5.000 of a given monster and receive it's card as a reward. Would be fairer.

 

I've been hunting in Pyramids since day 0, always with 4/3 of a BG (leftovers of the one I use to kill Fenrir with 2 characters), and thus far I got 1 Minorous and 2 Mimic cards. There could also be a /cardonly command which disabled all drops from any monster you kill, but doubled the chance of the card dropping (but it should not work on MVPs). I was going to suggest Nightmare Dungeons Spotlight when Aldebaran ended. We could suggest it for next month though. NCT + NP + GH Hard + NScaraba.

Tried farming and it seems that the nightmare pyramid is swarming with gx rk bots now. I even checked at thor and saw gx and mechanics using cd in mouth.

Hmmm, I hunted in Nightmare Pyramid Dungeon 2 for a few days. First two days kept teasing me with slotted gloves. Then one day I get ancient mimic. Then the next I got 2 nightmare verit, 1 ancient mummy in the span of 2 hours. Similar thing happened when trying to +10 an armor. Broke 46 of them on the path to +10.  Statistically, I should have made like 2-3 at that point.  Then my last 2 went to +10. Granted, 2/48 to +10  is still lower than the advertised event, it is the nature of chance. It just sucks when it gets you good.
