Hi, guys. Currently I own 2 WLs, 1 maxed and one almost maxed. I decided to level a second one mainly for double GMT/day and double Bakos/week, and because I already had the gears, and all. Now they both have pretty decent gears (even though no MVPs/no Gods), and I want a character that can complement what they can do, but won't cost me that much zeny to gear. Since I don't have much time (2 hours a day, sometimes 3), and I already have a 2x GMT routine + use the HEGum leftover that take me almost 1 hour of my time.

 

Right now I have:

 

- RK 149/??, partially geared (4 AS Mace, +9 superior Temp Dex, Glorious Suit, +9 Vanar/Turkey, 2 Ur's Seal Sp250 with spore, Mini Glasses with Incubus, Long Octopus Balloon, +9 iHBP, bronze shadow set, Shield set from WL);

- Hunter 9x;

- Will to make a Genetic;

- NO will to make a GX.

 

Well... I have a sage as well, but I don't think he can add as much potential to my team as any of the others.

 

So, overall, in which char should I invest to complement my WL capabilities? Taking into account amount of zeny needed for gears AND time needed to level the character, as I have a quite limited amount of both time and zeny.

 

What I want use them for?

- OGH (terrible to do it with my WL, so bad that I gave up trying, even though it's doable);

- Bios Island (doable with WL, but hard mode nonetheless);

- Morses's Cave (not doable, at least with my combination of gears and ability...);

- Central Lab (Can kill most MVPs of the first 2 tiers with both WLs, but can't kill many of the third tier, and all shadow property MVPs are a pain to deal with);

- Whatever.

 

Please, give me your opinions. It would seem logical for me to finish leveling and gearing the RK, but I'm still not sure if it would be cheaper than gearing a Ranger/Gene, and DB has is also weak against Shadow property monsters.

 

Also, if you don't mind, please advise me about what gears should I prioritize within a 1b budget for this character

Not suggest DB RK unless you have something like tao and 2 kiel. It pretty hard soloing instance/MVP with normal gear DB RK. But actually DB RK is the easiest character to maxed level

Sorcerer if you want gear sharing with WL

Gene pretty expensive, costly at leveling and gearing

I suggest ranger if you have partner or GX for solo

I think for instance you mentioned in term of cost/time, GX Will win at mostly aspect and It not require crazy gear to do it

Also, just in case I decide to try and make a GX, what do I really need to make one that can solo OGH without suffering?

No, those two just have different playstyle. Ranger due lack of weight limit and squishy can't carelessly when attacking. Drag out the mob and shot at far range. You Will die if stuck on the mob. For mvp using ankle snare or hitlocking to restrict monster movement

I know. I'm more used to ranged play because... warlock. XD And I'm not very fond of melee classes, specially one that can't be efficient with a shield.

 

I guess I'll make a ranger after all. Thank you all for the opinions. ^^

if you want to solo morse so bad, GX is one of the top tier.
performers also doable in soloing morse.

1. +0/+9 Rideword Hat 45-300m

2. +0/+3/+6 Temporal Str FS Boots, you can skip the last enchant Around 40-60m or FS with BP or LD, 180-220m clean

3. +4-9 Thanatos Katar 0-+4 20m , +7 -70m , +9 200m, Hunter Fly 15m

4. +9 Heroic Backpack 350-500m or just get a highly Refine GFSS with some stats you need 30-80m,

Raydric or Wak Wak Card 12m-30m

5. Rogue Treasure 100m + Cold Heart/Black Cat <1m

6. +4 or +5 Malicious Set 100m MAX 

7. Incubus or Succubus Pet 30-60m

8. Nab Cloth FS6+ 40-70m (Evil Druid, Bathory, Pasana 20-30m)

 

Total will bring you from anywhere from 400m to 1.4b

 

I believe Udyr has a replay file where he solo on a 140+ GX with budget gears. 130+ is doable but wouldn't recommend it for first timers.

 

You can use the same setup for Isle/Morse/CL and don't forget Devil's Tower, its so easy on GX.

Thanks A LOT, Yamasakai! It looks like I'll be able to make one with less than 500 M. I'll start seriously considering making a Beyblader. Will it be much worse if I use my +9 Vanar instead of the RWH?
