Hi, I did'nt played for 4 years and I was leveling a Knight.

I heard that the Rune Knight is totaly nerffed so is it still a good idea to keep leveling my old caracter or it's way better to start new one with another class ?

RK is great -- at least, DB RK is very easy to play/level. Phys RK is harder, but has surprisingly flexibility later (and is very good in WoE.)

Ok cose i was building an ASPD knight. When you're talking about PHYS RK what's that mean ?

Here is my ctual builde, can you help me for that ?

I also have a +5 Hyper Bérésius Ice claymore and 2 athletic brooch but now it's lvl 90 to waer it xD

Phys RK = aspd and/or STR/DEX/VIT build that uses ignition break. 

 

DB RK = very little str, agi, or luk as they invest heavily into vit, int, and dex to maximize DB damage. 

 

The two also use very different atk modifiers. 

 

Long story short, you're building a phys RK, and yeah it is viable/doable, just not as easy as DB RK. 

 

edit: Oh I see, you're still a knight. Yeah anything goes to level to 99, I thought you were like level 120+. 

 

Just bowling bash everything in sight, you'll be fine. When you hit rune knight, you'll suddenly see what I mean by "phys" or "db".

It's ONE of the most op classes for PVM/MVP/PVP/WOE,DB spam is broken.

 

P.S : +14 KVM CS is also broken but at least it has delay.

Where do you heard that from ._.

It only weak at early leveling range, need so much job level for ignition break and DB build shine after lvl 130

Can I play a hybrid RK? Use DB and hundred spear. If its a very bad idea pls tell me

I wouldn't recommend it, though there's nothing stopping you from getting hundred spears as it does benefit from the various EA mods, and the biggest boost to its damage isn't necessarily atk but the weight of the spear. Though it is still a single target skill, so keep in mind that it will take 12341234142314x as long killing enemies one by one than by mob+aoe. 

 

I think you're better off leveling with DB and then resetting to a physical RK after. 

 

Or just level as a phys RK ;D

RK is OP when u have highend Equips. tao +14 gspear and over upgraded old bio headgear (idunno if this is implemented in iRO cause im just lurking in forums for info and updates in official server) If you're willing to dish out some moolah for ur RK and obtain OP items, u wont regret making it. But if you're just a casual player, i suggest u make a sura hahaha

It's true, Suras are easier to gear. XD I've just never really been interested too much in RKs... But, Sura ain't for the faint-hearted!
