Hey everyone,

 

As per title, I'm a new player going for GX, and I need some guidance at points like: where I can make money, where I can hunt, right gears etc.
Currently, I only have 150m given by a friend and I dont know what do to with this.

I already looked for guides and another topics about this, but almost all is outdated and dont explain what I need at all.

My GX is level 119/29 now and I am going for hybrid RC/crit katar build. (PvM/MvP)

 

Some guides says to buy WPH/Alarm combo, but it is too expensive. Also, I was thinking at buy a Thana katar with HF and a HBP but I dont know is a good idea buy it +0.

 

I'm on Renewal.

U can reset stat+skill for free once each char.At eden group

I suggest go full RC Build for lvl  more than Hybrid.Then 175 reset to Mvpling.

You can make money from hazy 130++(oca from purple dragon), ghost palace 120++(getting thanatos weapon), midTI (if the week have nice monster)

But before making money you must leveling first. The main reason using HBP is make looting easy with their greed. at +O HBP not provide any bonus. Actually you can still survive without that

Your dex and vit too low, i'm suggest get 50-60 dex and 90 vit

With 150m budget, for leveling/farm purpose, i recommended:
Rideword hat +0
Silent executor
Nab cloth FS 4-6, bathory carded
Jur 3HF/special jur 4HF, change into thanatos katar HF at lvl 120+
Variant shoes
Nid garment with raydric card
Vesper core 2/4
Some poison bottle

For fast leveling
100-120 go to nogg 2
120-125 mid TI
126-150 scraba 2/high TI(depend the monster)

RWH is the main gear for leeching HP/SP from the monster, this the most important gear and useful until max level. It saves you from HP/SP pot item usage
Bathory card can block soul strike from nightmare terror, it's the most anonying atk on nogg 2. And for future instance too
Krisna 2 HF + assasin handcuff can do, you Will change into thana katar anyway at lvl 120

Dont you know other armor for me ? Nab's Cloth is a little hard to find at specified FS too :S

If I use cotton shirt with pasana it will makes some difference ?

Also, i'm havin a little problem with mob's hit lock ...

1. A clean nab armor is only around 3.5M. You can add enchants to it yourself. (Check mora enchants on irowiki)

2. There's an armor called lucius fire armor with fire property. Cotton shirt + pasana equals this armor. The difference is Lucius armor is 1.5M, while pasana card is 25M.

From your ideas though, it seems that you are not familiar with the current gears available in the server.

2. There's an armor called lucius fire armor with fire property. Cotton shirt + pasana equals this armor. The difference is Lucius armor is 1.5M, while pasana card is 25M.

From your ideas though, it seems that you are not familiar with the current gears available in the server.

Yeah, I'm new at this server and I dont have much time to study iRO's stuff due to university stuff ;/

Edit: The non-slotted Lucius armor which costs 1.5M is for merchant and swordsman classes only :/

Oh yeah I totally forgot.

In that case, try to slot the pasana in a nab armor instead of cotton shirt. At least it'll be more useful in the future.

I found a ebone armor +4 with pasana for 10m, I think it was a good investment

fire attack there is negligible from my experience. you only just really want to stop the hitlock from dark soul strike.

 

hell you dont really need elemental armor on nogg2. you only need an hf katar/rideword/hbp and edp your way to it.

 

but try to collect elemental nab cloth for leveling.

 

always check ragial for enchanted ones. you might be lucky to get a cheap fs/atk enchanted ones.

I want a HBP +0 at least less expensive, but Im not finding for budget I have now.

That 10% neutral resis is really worth ?

Alone? it's negligible, but if stacking neutral % then 10% becomes somewhat of a big deal. 

 

If you're willing to use a shield, you can currently stack over 100% neutral resistance on various classes quite easily. 

 

The real benefits of the HBP are the atk and atk speed, IMO, but as a GX you'll easily be able to get 90+ in every stat other than INT (which you shouldn't raise at all.)

So its only worth +9 ? :/

I'm using Cat for healing and its awesome, I wish a HBP for greed loot haha

Should also do daily Sara's Memory, the food items dropped by everything there fetches a good zeny amount everyday

I am doing almost every day, I have plenty of foods stocked at kafra hahaha..

 

Do you guys think a +9 krishna w/ FS 6 & 7 and 2 HF + assassin cuffs combo is better than +9 Thanatos Katar w/ HF ? I dont have budget to keep both at inventory
