Hello!

 

If you don't know me, I am an active contributor to the iROwiki website --and now, recently, the database.

So in my time procrastinating on homework free time, I was hoping I could work on a list of things to update. So this brings me to the point of this thread.

 

I'd appreciate you, RO community, to make a list of things that are missing, out of date, or otherwise lacking information in the wiki. I will in my free time (alt tabbed stringing in a party) slowly start adding/editing these pages.My preferences is on the bold categories. RO is a big game, and there's a lot of pages that I personally don't visit but maybe you do.

 

 

Database-wise, I'm well aware of how far behind it is. And I know DivinePride is a much better source. But sometimes it's nice to not have to open a new window for it. #convenienceFactor

And forgive me, because I only just got access, so I don't know if there's a way to script these changes.

Perhaps iRO Wiki should look into including future updates on the wiki with a notice saying "This content is not yet implemented on iRO" so that when the update does come, the information would be ready to look up. This has been an ongoing issue ever since I adopted the Ragnarok Wiki since I have kRO information on there.

Every two upgrades to the footgear gives Def +1.

 

should be
Extra DEF/MDEF based on refine rate

Just remembered I can update both the wiki and database and have not been doing so in the last few months... ._.

 

Lemme know where I can help as far as updating the sites goes and I'll do my best to chip in where needed.

Grandma Boxter: its out of date.

i remembered i was the one making grandma boxter section on irowiki, as well as updating each time boxter got updated.

But by the time i went hiatus, i stopped updating boxter as well. Kudos for people who wants to continue updating boxter.

Does it give 1 per refine rate? Cause I can just add the word MDEF in it. Or I can technically revert to the in-game description (which isn't as clear).

I added the kRO halloween guide, then someone added images.

Feel free to update my wanderer guides and you can PM me if you want to run anything by me before changing what I wrote if you care to.

 

Side note: Thread seems to be about the wiki itself, but its worth noting we've also gone back into updating the database end of things. I added a new set of tools for editing the quests in the datbase so that items can be linked to quests (the link appears at the bottom of item pages, e.g. 'this item is used in xyz quest' and when clicked on, goes to the wiki article).

i am planning to stack perfect hit(seeking attack) but i have a doubt if it is working the way i think of this status...

Update: Added 14.3 Monsters to database. Need to be approved by one of the 3 actual admins.

Will then need to add stats and items. But at least they'll be available to edit.

Please when adding items, triple check everything you do, when the desc project is ready to move again we will be counting on iro db item stats to serve as a verification of sorts with the tool I am making.

Well I have been using Divine Pride as of right now. I also haven't had access to some of the items to know their "NPC Sell Value" and weight, etc.

Should I be making the descriptions clearer than what the current in-game description is (where applicable)??
