Really needs a clean up. There's a long post a bit further down about information flow which is hard to see because well...
If you wanna know how that looks on a full res monitor, click here, but I pity anyone on a smaller res/mobile device lol.
I have a few suggestions to clean it up and make information finding a bit easier.
1) Camp, no offense, love the effort with the monday morning threads (they're great) but just pop the archive into the tiki lounge. We don't need a million archives to scroll through! If people are looking for old threads, they're already digging.
2) Move the Loki's lodge out on it's own. This whole community chat section is "the renewal section" for general chatter pretty much. Classic players won't feel so offended if their classic only topics are only being buried 3 sub-forums deep instead of 4.
3) The extra life livestream is done, throw it in the events section.
4) The airstrike thread.... idk about you guys but coming to a game forum and seeing 73 pages of "amigad bots" on the first page isn't exactly the best impression... is it? I love the purpose it serves but I dunno if it needs to be so visible.
5) Combine the rules threads, please and thanks. Add sanctions.
6) If you're looking for mods, don't advertise. Go ask. You must know who you have on your yes/no lists already. Inviting public applications is just going to attract bad people on their alts / work IPs or even worse. People don't offer to do this stuff altristically most of the time. There are some but most won't.
P.S prepare to deal with : "why do they get paid wpe and stuff? I do more for the game than they ever have" - Volunteers / event runners, since 200X
7) Patch notes. Renewal people get to discuss all sorts of things including WoE. Sometimes they even get 10+ pages of WoE topics in the general section. Classic isn't allowed these things. You know what tho? I kinda get it. So just lock the maint threads after posting and put up topics in the (hopefully more visible) Classic section for feedback on specific issues. Stop sweeping the server under the rug. Just because I, and many other classic players care a lot less now doesn't mean the server is going away until you do something with it.
8) Stay on top of the pinned topics. Don't let the important stuff vegetate underneath.
