Question.. I have Peace Breaker (1) and technically its more expensive than death fire..
Is this worth refining to 9 or 10?
It does give +25% aspd and low hit penalty and one slot and many more. I wonder if this attributes will give a spammable shotgun with lesser damage. Is there a trick on this? I hope were its not totally useless. I wanted to explore
Base ASPD as a shotgun is a really terrible even it's have less hit penalty than Death Fire
it's really hard to reach 193 ASPD with shotgun unless you wear Modified boots with Speed of Light enchant and proc it.....
compare to Pistol , Gattling gun , Rifle that's easier to reach 193 ASPD
(for Rifle I think I need to change some gears , raise more Agi at higher level < Maybe at least 90 for HBP bonus , some buffs)
for Crit build nothing can beat Color Scope which have +30 Crit by default with some gears and Luk can reach 100 Crit so easily
and it's have 2 slots for Aunoe....
also Peace Breaker have only 250 base ATK so overall for using skills like Shattering Storm or Slug shot.... damage will lose against Death Fire.....
and yep..... shotgun skills are non-spammable even main AOE skill : Shattering Storm it's have 1 sec Fix Cast time (0.5 w/ 120 Dex + Modified Dex boots)
and 1 second cooldown (If you have 2x Rebel Scarfs)
leveling with Shattering Storm always rely on Death Fire w/ Increase accuracy and some gears / items that's increase hit for fix hit penalty weakness of this gun....

Planning another build for P.Demon Mask....
Str 69 (I think it's fine because I'm not planning for Tengu / GP just use Mob Scarf / PDM / Rebel Scarfs / FLP)
Agi 91
Vit 80
Int 36
Dex 120
Luk 108 (90% Def Bypass when use PDM , for Armor => Planning to use Abyss Dress instead of Abusive Robe)
I think this build is like my old one but sacrifice Str from 90 to 69 for 108 Luk
for gear headgears => Mob Scarf accessory => I use FLP / Rebel Scarfs / PDM depend on situations
my old build have 90 Str and 90 Luk so I'll have 75% bypass from PDM , Atk bonus from +9 HBP , more weight to carry slugs)
for damage I think it's middle between 120 Str / Dex (Tengu / GP) and 120 Luk pure Crit (wear modified Luk)
this build can do decent damage both Crit and AOE / Slug but master of none....

wait, no big and bold "DO NOT KS OTHERS!!!" ?? i think it should be stated that just because you have an 13x13 spammable skill it doesn't mean you can use that as an excuse for blatantly KS'ing others. you know you do it reber scum.

Mob clearing I use Round trip , Fire Dance depend on situations (have FLP and PDM)
such as second floor of OGH I prefered Fire Dance because all mobs are boss class , no knockback when Round Trip
so spamming Fire Dance deal more DPS also I need Fallen Angel for mobility to find RK when he/she spawn...

I use Shatter because I can kill mobs in one or two shots w/ 2x Rebel Scarfs
just let tank pulling all mobs then finish with Shatter

Hi Everyone! Any stat and skill (distribution) advice for my Rebel? I want to maximize its (damage) potential when it comes to PvM leveling and possibly MVPing. The one leveling approach I have in mind is through Round Trip only. I would most likely use Mini-guns and Pistols weapons for now.
I'm really behind when it comes to the new meta of Rebels lately (since I became inactive in playing RO1 for a month). Here are my stat build, skill build, and gears.
Current level is 101-50. FAW is Menblatt EA4-2-1
Is this a proper 1st job class distribution? Feel fee to give me feedback. Willing to reset my skills if needed
This is where I'm stuck right now. Still trying to piece all the Rebel guide information on this Expanded Job Classes section. Hope you alleviate my struggle.

gatling gun (round trip) /pistol (fire dance) /shotgun (shattering storm) all good for lvling now. you can choose what u like most.
for stats and gears, better add dex to 120 first to wear modified dex boots, and if u go with shotgun, need more int too. you might need wear some leech gears for lvling. And can switch to probation gatling or minigun when reach 106
1st job skills look good, for 2nd, you need to decide what build in the end u go with. but I highly recommend u get binding trap and flicker no matter what build u choose.
for endgame, i think shotgun or pistol build is better. A good dmg shotgun is coming and we got rebellion scarf already, it's kinda easy to get good dmg on shotgun build, here's my skill build for shotgun
I dont have a pistol endgame build rebel atm, if u want to go that build, we can discuss together

So I managed to get 2 Heart Hunter card drops from the Heart Hunter Base instance somehow, enough to slot one of the new guns. If I have one of the new guns at +15 eventually, would it be better to slot in a AK or HH card generally? I'm a bit conflicted because it's likely that a large amount of ranged bonuses can be obtained through other gear (60%++ or more?), so I'm not sure if stacking even more ranged bonuses with HH card would outdo AK cards.
At +15, HH card would give +25% ranged bonus each which is huge...
It is very much situational, performance will vary based on your stats and other gear.
I calced for one of my builds and gear sets and AK came out slightly ahead.
A key word in your post is your use of the word "generally". HH card works on all targets, AK only against MVPs, so since the difference is very small, I would say HH is better generally.
Another thing to keep in mind is that HH only works for pistol, rifle, and grenade launcher. If you switch to a shotgun for MVPs, it becomes a moot point, you have to go with AK for the shotgun there.

Damage vs survivability. I’m no expert but I’d say abusive for end game while having malicious shadow and switching headgear when appropriate is better. Preference.

So.............have Dragon Tail Missiles in my inventory, im even using a Grenade Launcher, hundreds of bullets consumed, never proc the Dragon Tail, and missiles still there
And, dont see any buffs, or damage increase after using Crimson Marker on target wearing the scarf
well,its working for me.

It's supposed to be 1% * (level of dragon tail you know), so should be 5% if you maxed dragon tail.
