As the title says,

After this last update, when I hit 'Play' button the patch closes and nothing happens !

A new .exe file was released, it is possible that your system's security software blocked it from executing. If applicable, add RO .exe files to the software's white-list. Make sure also Ragexe.exe and Ragnarok.exe are run as an admin.

To be safe, let's make sure your client received the necessary files for today's update.
First, restart your computer. Next, force your client to re-download today's patch files. That can be achieved by following the instructions in this link.

 

 

Side note:

Set Ragexe.exe and Ragnarok.exe to run as an admin all the time, for instructions click on the spoiler below:

Spoiler

1. Right click the exe file.
2. Choose properties.
3. Under Compatibility tab put a mark on Run this program as an administrator.
4. Click on Apply then Ok.
5. Launch the application.

Now it worked !
I had to force my client to re-download today's patch files.
