Greetings everyone! I'm not really a new player, well, I am here. I know its a 'sin', but I'll admit I've been playing in a private server for quite some time back in 2011 or so, when the patch was... uuugh... the login screen had alot of ice and a dragon of some sort going at you, yet still, I'm honest *awkward grin*.  Anyways...

After surfing around the net and getting disappointed and bored quickly with what is releasing these days, I thought to myself "Theres nothing I could lose by going back to the old goldies I've used to enjoy so much, maybe I'll even gain some of the happiness back", and here I am.

I'm not sure for how long I will stay, but before jumping in, I wanted to know a few things:

1. Popularity. During my gaming years, I finally understood that having a decline in a games population isnt as bad as I thought (you should've seen my topics on the forums of games I was about to start getting into lol, similar to this one, but not exactly). Yet still, how are the servers doing after such a time has passed? Do we have like a thousand~ people or so? Wich would be more than enough really <snip>

2. What was it...? Right, P2W. <snip> Hell, its been 5 years xD yet I feel fantastic about coming back.

Since Im getting thrown away from the topic - is the game P2W at its current state? Like, are there stuff that you WILL definitely need while doing Shiva (is that, yea it is the dragon I could never solo because again, not the dodgy kind, right?) or in late-game in general, Im not really familiar with the late game atm. So yea, thats about it, or ofcourse I might be wrong, maybe you DONT need insurance scrolls anymore or theres another way of getting it, enlighten me please.  :p_idea:

BONUS: Does the folk prefer PvE or PvP? because I'm all about those battlegrounds boi, wait till I hit a reasonable level.

Alright, I think thats it, well, the lenght of my posts obiviously didn't change, sorry about that. ^^

Cheers! Cya in-game!

1.

I would assume around 2k people and it seems it is increasing. I see new people every day....

2.

On this server the game is as less pay to win as it ever has been before. The staff is constanly working on getting rid of as much pay to win as possible. You still need insurance scrolls. You can buy them with ingame gold from other players though, same for all other item mall stuff.

Plus on this server here are lots and lots of events in which you can get free IM stuff and costumes.

For PvP you need enchanted gear, that hasn't changed. For PVE you don't need more than a +4 on everything except you want to farm Elga (end boss of the game). In that case you need enchanted gear too, but like I said you can buy everything you need from other players with ingame gold. There are lots of trusted IM sellers (selling IM stuff for gold) in the game waiting for their next customer. Many important IM items can be bought for gold in the open market too.

Welcome to this server and maybe it would be worth it to check the game out. See for yourself if you like it here or not. :p_smile:

Hello and welcome to our server.

I only have to add that we have way more players than 2000. I can't tell exact numbers here but they aren't online at the same time.

Also I should mention that WarpPortal took over the development of this game and we are constantly balancing the game, fixing bugs and adding stuff.

I hope you will enjoy your time with us and maybe we'll meet in-game one day.

As they said the population in game is decent, but not as any other highly renowned games.

There is no item in the game (which you can buy with IM) that you can not get with gold via market, trade, mail, or buying IM gifts from others.

Money is primarily used to speed things up. The only difference between a person that spent 100$ and another who spent 0 is that the one who spent money has more gear that you can get later on before you do. It's like a ticket to the future that won't change. At the end you both will have the same thing, just one method is faster obviously.

Welcome to the server and enjoy. :ani_wow:

1.  most of the chars you see are alts, every high lvl player have almost 1 of each class so is hard to know game population

2. well consider all late games players i know spend 16 hours in this game daily you also need alot of free time to get gold

1. I already said we have way more than 2K players. I am talking about unique players not alts. What gives you the right to question my statement? Do I need to remind you that I am a dev of this game and I know what I'm talking about.

2. It's not the question how long it takes to get the gold (as Agitodesu said it's pay to speed up) - the point is that you can get EVERY item with gold if you want to. If you spend money you're faster but finally there is no barrier if you don't spend any money. You are not forced to spend money. All game content is available for everyone without spending real money. And that's a difference to a lot of other MMOs.
