Hey guys! it's been about 5 years since I last played and im so happy that I found my sinX! Im looking into to what to do. My stats are all reset? And i dont have much gear/ zeny but im looking at what is best just for pvm looking for a bit of fun to get back into the feel. no mVP.. Im guessing Crit katar?

 

any help or tips on stats would be appreciated.

theres lots of threads on the thief section already. try to look for them.

 

in short though, if you want a cheap pvm gx this is what i do.

 

Spoiler pvm build, Rolling Cutter GX

rush str/agi/vit to 90 (for hbp) and dex to either 60-70 or 80-90 depending on your equipment or consumables for hit rate.

 

get a cheap katar until 120 then change to thanatos katar (quest reward katar, search Ghost Palace Instance)

 

get a heroic backpack to +7 or +9 for the stats bonuses

 

try to get rideword hat and get it to +9 or vanargand depending on your budget.

 

build rolling cutter. use edp and spin your way to max level.

 

try to pump either str or agi to 120 depending on your needs.

 

other gears are supplementary for me, the essentials are +9hbp, +9rideword hat, and a thanatos katar carded with hunter fly.

 

also a blind and/or silence immunity carded headgears would be nice instead of bringing green pots.

 

enchanted (with fs/atk) elemental nabs cloths are good too
