Well, Angeuls is "+9% def" woth of effectiveness when maxed. It won't make the party members magically turn into tankers but it helps to mitigate some damage done. The higher the defense the more effective the skill is, I thought of using it mostly thinking about tanks to be honest.

Question :

1. Is there any possibility to buff Ranger role in team? Since Rangers nowadays (and in the past) are just really really nothing. I mean, lets face it and be honest, no one wants ranger in their WLH team. If you're a Ranger then you know what I mean, because I don't or never seen any Ranger with "Lawless World" title before.

 

2. Right now we have an unwanted "buff" called invincible each time we logged in, move to portal (go to dungeon or warp) or change channel. This buff should automatically gone when we move, but in reality now it's not. We have to wait like 8 seconds? before we can use any skills and that's really annoying. Can we have it removed or make it like it was? (we move and the buff is gone).

You might want to ask those in the next Dev stream or in the weekly Njotes. This topic was created for a stream that has already happened 2 weeks ago (Dec 1st).

As 5318130516144610857 these are great questions that could be asked during our next Town Hall Meeting.  We are planning to have one at the end of the year on the 29th!  :)   Just keep an eye out for the new thread when it gets created and we can go ahead and add it there.

Hey, as others mentioned we have Njoror Njotes on Mondays or Town Halls each month, but since I'm here I'll try and answer.

 

1. Yes. For Rangers and others suffering. There was an issue with prior design and development of classes where scaling wasn't considered when introducing new zones, levels, and points. Classes were at a much better place, though not perfect, at level 50 and then they were stretched out to ML40 (or level 90) with only aspects being affected. It's a very large undertaking to go back through Master Levels and make those adjustments because it involves class skills, gear, items, pets, monsters, etc but it is something we are going to focus on for 2017 in order to resolve.

 

2. We think it was an incomplete update to the buff that got distributed. We wanted to change the buff to be canceled on any skill use and not movement, since it caused camping in WoE maps if the player moved. We're working on a fix for this.

I take this back, the skill is total crap on tankers with high defense. What matters is the defense rate and at high levels it won't make much of a difference (from 91.50% to 92.01%). I guess it's more effective to low defense class because the DR is less important at those levels, I do not know the updated defense formula, can't judge x.x

91.50% -> 92.01% is +0.51%
70.50% -> 72.26% is +1.76%

Angelus could be more meaningful indeed.
