I had a hard time dealing with Royal Guards and Kageros  

 

1. how do you kill an RG with reflect and defender on without using oblivion curse? I always die because of the reflect and low damage of CRS because of the defender

 

2. how do you kill a magic type kagero with cicada skin shed always on? I killed him once with soul destroyer. 30k at first try, then he equiped some resists. it went down to 15k. his magic damage was always one-hitting me. 

 

 

3. how to outsmart Manhole - Shadow Form - blast mine SCs

 

any advice and suggestions fellow gxs?

i know bryn is a god item but how does that help? i'm not familiar with the item's bonuses. only the atk/matk+% and cannot be knocked back.

If the attacker uses bryn the ninja wont be knocked back by cicada. You can also try to stun them since lvl difference nulifies stat baed immunities

woah. i didn't know bryn had that kind of effect. does RSX card also has that effect? also, what's  the max level a kagero can achieve?

afaik what attacker wear should not affect kagero's cicada knock back.

instead its what kagero is wearing that affects it.

It does affect, ppl use it againts my oboro :v

Expanded classes reach a maximum of 160 now. Their status immunity through stats againts other player wont work unless they were at least 165.

what? i thought its the other way around?? the user of bryn should be the one who wont be knocked back? not his target enemy. unless it was already changed? aww

RG: well u have to possess a high hp pool to tank reflect lol; use crit and try to spam pots; make him vulnerable by trying to inflict various status effects to him (freeze, coldmode, etc), or lure him to a trap, it depends on HOW ur going to do it but u should try. So basically you should wait for him to turn off his defender and take this chance as an opportunity, either inflict a status( freeze him or what ever u have got for him to be vulnerable to long range attack CRS or if u can inflict high damage CRS with just 1 roll then great.

 

Kagerou: Equip sropho or frost and some redux Cranial shield + [4] status cards knife preferably sropho or SK or marina or whatever u can think of, make use of the opportunity, disable his Cicada and Mirror Image by hitting him and when he's vulnerable to attacks. Go for the kill. Dealing with ninjas isnt hard, just tedious.

Bryn prevents knockback on the user, but disables Cicada jump as well if you attack wearing it.

Sropho is disabled on iRO.

i don't have a bryn so i can't test it. i also can't find any video to prove what ash is claiming. i want to believe ash because he's reliable but somewhere in my mind, i still want proofs.

3.) If you're the CRS type you just have to stay mobile and backslide accurately, wait for an opening then CRS.

What class are you going with this?

1. If you can't kill an RG, without poison, improve your item set. That's a physically defensive class, toe-to-toe fighting with a shielded class without you having one is hard. Bring more pots.

 

2. You can bring different converters for your Soul Destroyer.

 

3. If you got manholed, press esc button and click the character select screen BEFORE he uses SF and steps on his/her mines. A not-so-clean approach, well at least he can't kill you.

1. Thats exactly what im thinking. But im too poor. Hahaha. Maybe i should save up for a tao.

2. Already used 8 elements. (Neutral shadow holy poison earth fire water wind). Still 15k SD with +14 gbr.
