Actually, the chance for platinum shield to proc when 6 targets are hit is 62.285%

So squirrel, what's the correct activation rate to set in the script for it to be 15% with 6 targets?

(1-x)^6 = .85

Might want to balance it around 4 proc chances. So the proc rate of 150 in the script --> 40, would give 15% w/ 4 targets. That still gives a soloist a pretty large chance to proc it off of a full single Stormgust cast. If all of the sac targets gain the magic mirror effect when it is procced though, it is still getting a big boost from sac mechanics.

I am a sorcerer. When i used magic on my enemy, the magic reflect has high chance and the magic reflect is not included in the sacrifice skill from RG's. This shield is really OP.

Why not just remove the ability of Paladin to use Platinum Shield?

It's been this way forever, not sure why people want it changed all of a sudden.

Actually it's because it doesn't work that way on other servers and people are fed up of classic having crazy mechanics.
For example reflect being calced before WoE reduction, etc. There's a lot of things wrong with Classic.
I do not believe my guildmate brought this up because of losing.
It's because we want other guilds to be able to do better.
Even if plat shield is nerfed, kaite is still a thing (which works in CP, unlike PS). It's also not a new thing to complain about. Other servers have it set to 1.5% so why don't we?

Yeah, makes a lot of sense. I don't think things should be changed just because people get flustered.

It's 15% on others as well, and i guess it's intented.
(btw, for NPC skills type of proc, if you are checking the script, it is Value/1000, not value/10000. So 150/1000 makes it 15% correctly)

That's not why... that part is already known.

I think 15% is intended.

It is intended, though.
As a matter of fact Orlean's Shield, Maya, Frus and Cat'O Nine Tails cards also share this feature and I have never met anybody that cared about that 6x 50~80% chance to reflect JT, let alone complain.
Most of the Maya Cards are just left to rust in storage.

This is why the server needs to 3:1 Valhalla. Goodness.
