With the growing number of players in the server, I think WarpPortal should increase the number of channels or change the mechanics in grinding especially on high level dungeons.

 

I'm pretty sure everyone will agree to this as for every Exp. Mod. events, players gather just to grind their :p_omg:  off just to experience lack of spots for leveling. Take Forgotten Payon for example. It's not really about Eddga or other bosses anymore as gears drop from normal monsters but about the spot in Eddga Juniors. Jawaii gives very low exp and there are no other spots left to grind.

 

Maybe you can turn Forgotten Payon into a dungeon just like Osiris' Tomb so others can't screw the mobs nor ruin the lure for you.

 

Hope this issue gets enough attention as grinding and getting exp. Dark Whisper is already a pain in the  :p_omg:.

You will see the spots pretty empty after the exp event is gone. To change the location system only because of 1 exp event is not worth the effort I think. There are more important things to do.

You will see the spots pretty empty after the exp event is gone. To change the location system only because of 1 exp event is not worth the effort I think. There are more important things to do.

 

This is not the first time the exp mod went up 2 digits as just this year, it went up to x11 I guess. The event ran for a week, not including the run of the Fall Event Sharing. Also, if you count all the mergers the server had, you'd notice that there's a significant increase in the population in-game. And of course, who would want to grind after an exp event? I mean seriously? The level requirement for Master Level 36 is 200,000 MP (from 100,000 MP). I do think this is important and has to be addressed in the future.

i think change fp to be a dungeon need much effort, and since they are working on balance, bug fix and the upcoming nilfheim, it.is easier to increase the exp on the other mobs like dragonfly, ginseng etc

This is actually okay, like make other spots accessible for leveling and not limiting the spot to Eddga Juniors only.

Poking my head in to say I like the discussion, and that changing game mechanics would be much easier done than adding or changing channels, since that requires a lot more fuss to set up on the backend.

It's a separate team than would otherwise make changes to mechanics.

Adding channels disperses the population more when it isn't required, like if we had stability issues.

So, adding channels to fix an issue a game mechanic change would be better for would be better. And it honestly wouldn't be considered if a game design update is possible to fix the same issue.

Another suggestion set, if you do go forward making mechanic changes in FP~

 

Make some of the mobs not aggro, so we can walk thru the map and enjoy it's

artistry, rather than having to run/fight your way thru in a half-blind mad-panic...

 

Make the FP daily quests give a tempting amount of XP to get players to do them

together (like JDQ) as an alternaitive to grinding; reducing need for grind spots,

and making it possible to enjoy leveling even when an xp event isn't happening!

Totally agree it took someone 5x to escort me to somewhere safe coz fp mobs ohko me all the time @@
