hi! 

 

good day! I currently have sc[kk]+TSODspell4/4 both at +9. 

After reading through I decided that I'll ditch my KK sc, but what should I replace it with?

 

-should I stick with SC+TSOD combo with a different card (can only afford 1SC tho)?

-or go with OBMH with a crimson weapon

    -which one is better, rod or staff?

For most cases, Skull Cap + TSoD > OBMH + Crimson Rod. For High MDEF monsters from the Brute, Undead, Formless and Demon races, the OBMH + Crison Rod > SC+TSoD.

 

If you don't need a shield, OBMH + SoD >> SC+TSoD.

 

You'll need multiple hats, though. Ideally one with Red Lichtern, one with Yellow Lichtern and one with Tikbalang. These cards also go nicely in mid headgears, if you can afford them all.

 

EDIT: This is for Warlocks only. For Sorcerers it may differ, because they don't have Recognized Spell, nor MA, so there's little difference if the MATK comes from Weapon or Equip, and Crimson Rods/Staves have very high Equip MATK (if highly upgraded, of course) and very low Weapon MATK.

Rwc pin is specially good to use with an unslotted pendant, if you happen to have one, as it will give extra 1% matk per 2 upgrades on the hat.

Or just stick to OBMH, it still gives a respectable amount of matk% and dmg on your skills(exept Chain Lightning wich is not working)

The description is pretty bad.

And Elvira would only matter for when using CL/SE. You can have a pair with Elviras and an unslotted pendant just in case(i have it for oboro but w/e)

For the ghost damage part: Telekinetic Orb.

Very cheap, nowhere near as powerful though.

2 tele is like one elvira (not taking into count the fact that probably th accesories you put elviras also increase your overall dmg)

Yes, Bakonawa is really easy on WL.

There also are quite a few youtube videos showing how to do it.

1 Crimson Robe

1 Crimson Shoes

2 Crimson Orbs

 

This will reduce the damage from Meteor Storm to 32.5%.

 

If you have a Jakk Card in a Hood[1], the reduction will be to 12.5%. If you add a Valk Shield to the mix, there will be only 2.5% fire damage left. Now, take your time and fry him with electricity. When he tries to devour the Moon, you can burn the instruments to a crisp with Hell Inferno, then procceed to finish him, but keep your distance, because when he's enraged, if you get close enough, he'll totally own you with a combo of Storm Gust and Lord of Vermilion. Happened to me a few times while I was learning.

If you use a second Orb and a Jakk Nid Garb you can even swap the Valk Shield for something else or just not use a Proof Pot.

I'd rather skip the Jakk Card. I don't feel confortable if my character has non wings. XD

I just use The set above, plus a d agav carder armor because more matk, for garment i just use a random one with jakk, i think is a mithril cape or something and one Elvira acc for more dmg, you dont need thaaat much of gear to kill bako, i usually do it with a +7 thanatos staff lol

so the crimson mora set will really be needed. I was planning on getting a set for scaraba but then I got lazy getting coins

and by the way since noone wants to buy my SC[KK] yet I paired my obmh with TSOD.
