Bonus for the Crimson Staff is that it has no Jupitel Thunder autocast though. It can be really annoying.
Would this be an ok base-build for an annoyer/disabler in WoE 1/2: http://irowiki.org/~...bsbsaOrfeBnaIn1 ?
I don't know much about WL in WoE but I'd like to add an example annoyer/disabler build if such a thing is actually viable.
Also I'm not going to add any MVP Cards or God items to the wiki.
Having those on there would make people feel like you need them to play and have fun with a WL. :c

is the agav card for armor better than entweihen(of axis) in the long run?
If through the various mods you have over 2000 matk, then yeah agav's 5% is better.
Realistically, no, Crothen is better.

amdarais is easily superior in terms of damage, but has annoying drawbacks

+15 Crimson Staff is comparable almost the same matk as +14 SoD. recognized spell makes SoD to not fall behind. Also, all of the matk you get from SoD is boosted by M. Amp, almost half of what the crimson gives you is not.
No is not lol.
The output damage is way more than a +14 SoD (again, I have both and I have test both >_<).
Recognized Spell helps Crimson Staff even more plus you have 2 slots. Depending on what your card choices are, you can boost your damage even more.
M. Amp boost after base, weapon and eq matk kicked in... so it will boost both matk =), hence why Crimson have a better damage output depending on how good your overall matk is.

Using Crimson Rod, my Chain Lightning on Ktull deals 100K per hit. When I amp, the first hit is only 120K. The same occurred against Big Bells, a ~20% increase. When I use TSoD, against Ktull (so, no NP combo), I get ~50K on CL, but ~70 K on the amped hit, a 40% increase. Crimson Rod sucks for Warlocks, except for the slots. I can hit Big Bells with my +12 TSoD for almost the same damage that I deal with my +15 Crimson Rod with NCT combo. I'm waiting for TSoD[1] to be released...
Maybe Crimson Staff is better than SoDs, but I'll have to ask you, Haseo... Video or it didn't happen.

Thanks for all the efforts in updating the iro page for warlock class.
Do you think +12 red pom band should be included the headgear equipment? How does this compare to +12 ordinary black magician hat?

This is awesome!

I'll add it, since it is a defensive headgear against Demi-Human that still boosts the damage.
Thanks for the reminder!
As longs as the +15 Crimson Staff is more or less the same as a +14 SoD for a WL it's worth mentioning imo.
Even if only because it has no auto-jupitel!

**these are for WL, wich using Recognized Spell, will always have the maximum weapon matk variance applied.
+15 Crimson Staff:
min: (150[base]+75[min refine value])*1.3[positive matk variance for lv3 weapon]= 292,5 +50[from lvl bonus at 170+] + 225[crimson effect] = 567 (from wich a bit more than half is affected by Mystical Amp]
max: (150+155)*1.3 = 396,5 +50 +225 = 671
567~671, with basically half being equip matk. Average 619
+14 SoD:
min: (280+98)*1.4 = 529,2
max:(280+238)*1.4 = 725,2
529~725, all of it weapon matk. Average 627
Crimson has 2 slots while SoD has 1. Tho at that point SoD has an innate 7% matk bonus, wich is almost the value of any magic dmg% racial card, but it's global. Crimson Will have a veeery slightly better focused performance, while SoD is a good all around staff.
