Sometimes you get unwanted Paradigm Runes, Runes that dosen't fit your build. So you want to get rid of it, instead of just throwing it away as crap. Why not get for exemple, 500 valor points for it from a NPC.

U need to get extremly lucky to obtain one at all, I have done so many dungeons on my cleric and not got 1 single rune.

If u do get one, u again need to be lucky to get the one u want/need for your class.

 

Some people already have 10, while not getting the one they want.

This is a waste of time and most people wont even bother to try and obtain any at all.

 

I think it would have been better if they would allow you to pick 1 out of 4 quests (Depending how many differend runes there are)  that tells you you need to kill (Example) 150-300 Mumy King/Queen, Gloopy, King Ulverick, and SoD last boss.

To complete the quest and receive the rune of your choice.

Atleast this way everyone has a fixed chance of getting these things!

I play dungeons on a daily base... for half a year now.... with at least 3 of my chars... and just one char was lucky enough to get the rune, which fits to the build.

This rune dropped in June... and is still not maxed. So many fails... 12k ore are gone so far.

And yes, I used shards and empowered during the refine event. Maybe I am extremly unlucky.

 

Honestly... the rune does not even give any superpower... it is just a decent nice stat on it. If you don't have a really good build and really good gear, it won't help a lot.

I am not sure anymore, that it is worth the effort.

 

It is frustrating that you don't get this rune... not even when you do dungeons for months every day.

And the empowering-successrate does not make happy either.

 

But I totally would agree to the quest idea.

So every char has the chance to get the rune after some very hard work in dungeons.

 

Or just a... trade-the-rune-NPC

You can trade the rune you got for a rune you need.

char locked is totally ok...

Well honestly,

I.M.O it would have been the most logical thing to do...

 

 

And If you still decided not to make a quest for the face runes as per suggested... a good alternative option would have been to just add them to the valor/honor store for a hefty price of 3-4k valor (triple or quadruple the price).

 

 

 

I'm not even farming this anymore I already gave up 2 month's after the update when some people already had 5 runes, while others who done just as much or even more dungeons not recieved any.

Like I said, It's nice if you get one for your class/build but it's  NOT WORTH trying to farm for specificly, since you either get no rune out of your run or a rune you don't need for your build and is completely useless at this point.

 

 

The best solution would be to have a NPC where you can select between 5 different quests (Non-repeatable ofc, but u can complete all 5 quests once per account?)

 

Option 1:

  Precise Keen of Haste Resilience  [Accuracy 5% + 125] [Critical 5% + 66] [Attack Speed 10%] [Harmful Effect Resistance 5%]

 

Option 2:

  Evading Bracing of Restoration Reach [Dodge Rate 5% + 125] [Critical Defense 5%] [Heal Power 5%] [Skill Range 3m]

 

Option 3:

  Body Bracing of Recovering Resilience [Max HP 5% + 700] [Critical Defense 5%] [HP Restore Effects 10%] [Harmful Effect Resistance 5%]

 

Option 4:

  Puncture Force of Reach Blasting [Pierce Defense 5% + 200] [Skill Power 5%] [Skill Range 3m] [AoE Range 6m]

 

Option 5:

  Transfixion Force of Reach Blasting [Pierce Magic 5% + 225] [Skill Power 5%] [Skill Range 3m] [AoE Range 6m]

 

Quest Objective: 

 

Complete the Cave of Ulverick, Hall of oblivion, Sikuku catacombs and Sea of Dawn Game Arena dungeons (Ex.) 40 times

so that u need to complete every dungeon (Last boss kill = dungeon count) 40 times, 40x COU,HOO,SC & SOD.

 

 

It would probely be a good idea to keep track in the quest log how many counts are left.

 

In the end it might take longer to get 1 rune, but this way players are sure to get one with efford and not being lucky or unlucky with rewards.

The best part is, the runes aren't what's valuable, it's the materials that you spend an eternity trying to acquire in order to refine the rune. The fact that the runes don't drop about 10% of the time is just a kick in the face. If anything, the dropped runes should be fairly common, given the material circumstances.

why so much efort to buy/get some rune... and spend +12k paradicmatic... for not nice stats... even if u got lvl 100lvl rune ist useless... or not fit at all in your class... i see and compared all runes to my Chars i didnt see 2 runes to fit for example:

If you are Bourg Gun.... aoe Range ist useless. Raider Dual ist realy great if you got pasives to fit; knight? pierce Def? why?; etc etc etc, would be great if you can choise what you need to put in them ALL would like to spend a lot of time uppgrating Runes in PvM or PvP

I can make a case for why DEX is useless for Cannon Bourge's, it doesn't mean it's a relevant argument....
