Fuyukikun, nice calcs, i've done all in mind, but putting in paper makes it look clear. Thanks your guys for enjoying the topic.

And these cards look very nice if they change the way you've done, nice sugestion.

You dont get only 150 str as a 120 base str build on mech lol

You can easily attain over 170 str with just self buffs and blessing.
(120+8job bonus+4 uproar+1 hit bindig+7vip+20food+10 blessing)
You can push it to close to 200 if you want to and using clementia.

anyway @fuyuki, why insist on veteran axe when you can get tornado axe with almost the same output dmg with Aboom?

Away of this calcs, i still thinking that we need to change verus cards/equips to put mechas back on the game. Armors without slot and low effect cards aren't the better way to do it.

give me full detailed component of calculation once your work done. found the level modifier is incorrect, i was putting the skill to behave as base level/100, while it is actually base level/120.

status atk: 234

atk%: 17%( you forgot 2% from physical set)

race%: 15%

eATK: 106

wATK: 400 + (400*150/200)+-(400*0,2)+ 84~196 = 704~976

704~976 *1,17 = 823,68 ~ 1141,92

823~1141 *1,15 = 946,45~1312,15

wATK: 946~1312

eATK: 106*1,17 = 124,02 

124*1,115 = 142,6

eATK: 142

ATK: (234*2[status]) + 946~1312 + 142 + 250(cannonball)

ATK: 1806~2172   *1,51(ranged%) = 2727,06~3279,72

2727~3279*1,4 (skill bonus%) = 3817,8~4590,6

3817~4590 *(1000%*175/120) = 55664~66937


Ps: there's a set order for the % multipliers, wich i don't recall exactly right now, it will influence a bit on the flooring of the values, this one and the previous values are different pretty much coz i didnt use the same order.

there's an easier way to calc for dmg comparisons between weapon without adding a lot of distracting variants you know

 

sample: axe boom with 160 total str (and say, 400 status atk)

 

veteran axe [2step]:

250 watk, 300wgt, +70 max eatk with crafts

450 watk w/ str bonus, (500 base + 300 wgt ) (1.75 lvl mod) (3.2 card and supp-combo) = 4480 dmg mod

(400+520) (44.8) = 41216 

 

crimsonTHA [2step]:

200 watk, 200wgt, +275 eatk @15refine

360 watk, 39.2 dmg mod

(400+635) (39.2) = 40572

 

tornado axe [step]:

320 watk, 400wgt

576 watk, 40.95 mod

(400+576) (40.95) = 39967

 

note that the crimson axe is +15 to be that efficient

 

now that's just raw

 

if we put weapon upgrade bonus, tornado axe is better because it's lvl4

if we put weapon variance, tornado axe also better because of raw weapon atk

and finally we put range% to see that tornado axe yields best max dmg given all the same variants

Well the easiest easiest way to compare weapons is to just not calc everything and just use what would make different results.
For example you can scrap out ranged% and skill%. You can just apply the bonus skill% if thats needed.
Just remember to calculate your wATK properly, thats where i see ppl screwing up the most

When weapons have different numbers of slots you may need to do almost everything, as you would have differente % for each case, but if they have the same (like let's say Crimson Mace and Robot Arm) you can pretty much just compare the total wATK +eATK that they offer.

Bellum Guillotine still stays p beast mode since it has the 40% bonus naturally for axe boom (even if its no longer literally broken/imba); damn shame we can't get half the benefits outside of PVP/WoE. 

 

The real tragedy is the bastards didn't give us an axe tornado card.

Fitting since I wanted to make a crit build mech but after some testing I was dismayed by the very early ceiling on how much damage I could get out of it.

 

I really wish we got that stuff earlier than the town, but maybe we'll luck out and get Rockridge sooner than usual kRO -> iRO delay.

Guys, what about Vulcan Arm, 3x kick and kick twin naght or robot arm? Both level 4, low atak difference, one more slot.

Just a question, is Vulcan Arm potentially better than KB or people are just not talking about KB because there's no KB card from the Verus Update? Gravity really hates Mechs. Even the biolab headgear ain't that good. Reduce cd of Self Destruction? Power Swing damage? They should have included a KB card along with Axe Tornado and other skills like what fuyu posted in the first page.

I'm realy realy FU******** MAD, cuz mods don't even answer topics like this i've done. Man, 30% Vulcan Arm buff IS A SHAME TO MECHANIC Community, at least +50% buff each card.
