We are happy to announce that starting this December 15th seasonal items will start to no longer have to be manually turned on and off every year by the staff. We were able to get a month check added to the special effect of these items so that it will have the appropriate effect all year long.

 

As it is December our first pass at this is going to affect the following items.

 

Costume Christmas Wreath

Rudolf Hairband

Twin Pom Santa

Costume Cat Santa Hat

Costume Santa's Hat

 

 

The above items will have their event effects enabled during the month of December

 

Please let all other items you would like for us to revisit in the manner and we will be focusing on getting them processed over the next couple weeks.

Not really a seasonal costume. It was a Year of the Sheep costume. Like the Horse Head costume.

I think there might be some confusion with the wording. What Campitor means is that the Seasonal items will still remain seasonal and active for only one month, just that this is automatically done now instead of having to turn it on and off manually. This will NOT make the item effects permanent.

I believe the actually useful one was a 7-day Santa Hat Costume. So even if it isn't implemented, it would be fair because no one could possibly have it?

He's referring to Costume Witch's Pumpkin Hat. I believe the effect was -10% Variable Cast Time.

Costume Lude Mask: +20% Healing efficiency.

Costume Quve Mask: +10% Aspd

Costume Gloomy Pumpkin Hat: Increased movement speed. (Same effect as pecopeco hairband/Sleipnir/Moonlight card)

We havent enjoyed this one on thor, hope it gets re-introduced/obtainable

The santa hat costume that gave a big atk/matk and HP boost was a temporary one that vanished after a set number of days.

It came back because they didnt introduced the proper hat this year, the Gorilla one, even bRO got it lol (even bRO gdi)

That is the hat, though I couldn't find anyone actively wearing it on ROPD on Chaos but there are a few actives on Thor with it. But that could have just came from pRO, not sure.

 

But even if the hat was unobtainable and the only in game way to obtain it was via a rental, then there really isn't any reason to enable it's effects anyways. The hat does exist, but only for a few special people.
