Which spell FAW to get if can't afford multiple, atm using Raydric Spell 19 FAW, i've tried the Antique Book and difference in damage isn't that great tbh and i get it works more as default but.. difference isn't that big

NAM, we have more fire magic skills, and mobs that weak to fire element.

NAM for sure if you are a Warlock.

At 160+ it'll be possible to kill Big Bells with 2 Crimson Rocks, before that you'll need 3.

(Have to level my smaller Warlocks to 150 so I can try out gear/stat combinations with those to see if 2-shotting can be achieved earlier.)

Not me. I have to 2-shot them too, but I don't need to amplify to do so. What I one-shot are Gold Scarabas.

 

I also recomend NAM. The reasons are:

 

1) There are not many strong wind-element normal monsters either in leveling maps or instances (at least for now);

2) There are not many strong wind-element MVPs (at least for now);

3) Arc Elder card is way harder to get, so, if you manage to find it, it should be way more expensive as well.

 

But if Wind Elemental armor is a thing in WoE, Arc Elder will be better for WoE only.

Kusanagi, i'm gonna focus again in my WL, what i use atm is Immune Spell 19 FAW, temp dex with N Verit and TSOD+SC combo. I'm willing to try other gears but don't know where to start. First thing i was planning to get is the new FAW so i'll sell the one i have to do that and was tempted to get a rpb for GMT, i can finish it but barely. I use VIP buffs and that's it while doing it. Please help me xD

Hmm... Well, if you can buy a +9 FAW now you'd probably save a lot, because they are cheap. On the other hand, you'll probably want to sell your Raydric FAW later because... they're also cheap right now. XD I traded my Raydric FAW for a clean one while trying to drop the NAM card. Farm it if you have time/patience, buy it if you have money. But the greatest increment in damage will come from the MDEF bypasses that are given by the N. Mimic + N. Arclouse combo and the Big Ben + Neo Punk combo. When you don't have those, TSOD is really better (for Warlocks) than the Crimson Rod. When you have those, no other staff can compare. The problem is that they only apply to 4 specific races.

 

RPB won't help in GMT. I guess you have a KVM Staff, right? I remember you saying that you made one in another thread. Try to get a +9 OBMH and put a Yellow Lichtern in it. It will greatly boost your damage against Fenrir and the Semifinalist, whoever she is. I like to use the Antique Book card every time I don't need any Neutral damage reduction, and GMT is one of these times. For all other times, it's better to use the one with NAM card.

What? I had only 2 FAWs when I got my NAM card: One with Raydric and one with Antique Book. As soon as I bought a cheap +9 Spell 18 FAW I sold my +9 Immune FAW, and was using only the "of intellectual" one until I dropped the NAM card. Also, the +10 FAW wasn't made until the recent Hammer event, and it cost me a total of 23 tries (6 Safe to 10s before Hammer, 17 hammer tries, ~3 50 Enriched Elu boxes only used XD). It's +11 now, BTW. Couldn't +12 it.

 

EDIT: Just had a look on it. My ROPD is displaying old info. Just made a couple small replays, since today was Bakonawa day, and there's an EXP event going on, I decided to kill a few monsters on NCT 2 and NCT 3. Just found out that I can 1-shot Big Bens sometimes. Today is laggy as hell... -___- All maint days are laggy here...

1st reason: there's 1 usefull earth skill o the whole WL skill tree.

2nd reason: earth will do increased dmg to wind
Fire does increased dmg to earth and undead
Aka covers more monsters.

IF we get class specific shadow sets only then you might wanna pick a arc elder one.

NAM is better overall, and if is for a not maxed WL much better, you can one shot scarabas with NAM, i do it with a +9 OBMH 2x Alchemy gloves, +9 FAW with NAM, +7 SOD with pinguicula, and i recommend +9 temp int with Verit, with that you have a good setup to start, add an armor with agav and you wont have problems, you have to be fast to dont get killed tho xD, sadly NAM faws are not mine, i got borrowed to test dmg, but works really well.

 

@Gabriel RPB will be more expensive than +9 OBMH and you will give a lotmore use to the OBMH anyway, you can never go wrong on a WL using that hat, unless woe, wich is a totally different thing

I'd also try to get a +9 Red Lichtern OBMH (and/or Skull Cap).

Really comes in handy for grinding at Scarabs/NCT.

yeah most of the times, but as kubi and kusa already said, a red lichtern one is really useful to lvl up

This is being a bit expensier than i thought xD, but seems to be worth it. Got 1 OBMH of Telekinesis, aiming for one with Tikbalang and then a Red Lichtern one. This is gonna be hella expensive xD
