Logged on, all is normal~ Went to switch to merchant to buy potions, and ahha! What is this? My Options refuses to show itself!

Esc was my key, and now it's... I don't know what is is now. I pressed every button, but it hasn't shown up. I haven't tried combinations yet, however... Though, not a 'game breaking' thing, it does force me to Alt-F4 whenever I want to exit/switch characters. Is there a manual way to get it back to Esc?

Expand the "Basic Info" window if it's collapsed, then press "option".

It did not run away. Keyboard keys can't run, as they can't move their legs independently. Most modern computer keys hop instead. Some keyboards (the ones with the little feet in the back) can slowly crawl, but that means moving as a whole keyboard, and the keys never agree about which way to move. I mean, N wants to see the arctic, S wants to go to the tropics, X and E want to go to a rave, and Ctrl is trying to keep everything organized, while Esc just wants to get away from it all...

Old track-ball mice used to roll; that's the reason that wireless mice are all optical - without the wire, there'd be nothing to keep a ball-mouse from rolling off into a corner with other mice, and next thing you knew, there'd be portable-size mice everywhere, none of them doing anything useful (no base-stations for them), and they'd be gnawing on USB cables, and roller-balling up dirt and crud from your workspace. Optical mice aren't able to move on their own, and that was a major driver for adoption of the technology - especially after that programmer at microsoft fell asleep at his desk one evening... they found him the next morning with a USB cable wrapped tightly around his neck. That's why MS was one of the first companies releasing affordable optical mice, you know.

I've always wondered why they call them mice. Why not clicker or something?

Tower, monitor, speaker, keyboard, mouse... MOUSE??? Where? *gets a broom*
