Hello,

 

I just got myself iRO Classic and also made an account. Now all is patched I keep getting the message No Clientinfo File, followed by RixSquirrel error something.

Please don't tell me that there are already post about this issue, I read them all, also googled and also youtubed and tried all the "solution" the people suggested. Nothing worked and after 3rd Re-install I get desperate..

 

I played many RO Servers and up until yesterday I did not find any, which has such a problem. The renewal is fine, there I can login etc but the classic patch is messed up.

Can you please tell me how to fix that problem? I mean really fix it, as also none workaround worked for me...

Hey there and welcome,

 

Sadly there is no fix for the issue but a workaround to bypass the patch client.

Click on the spoiler below to learn the steps.

Classic Bypass method:

• Browse iRO folder and find clragexe.exe.
• Right click the exe file, choose Create shortcut.
• Move the newly created shortcut to the desktop for now.
• Right click the shortcut, choose Properties, choose Shortcut tab.
• In the Target bar, add -1old1 at the very end, make sure there is a single space between that and the existing target path. So it should look like this: "C:\Users\Windows\Ragnarok\clragexe.exe" -1old1
• Apply and then OK.
• The new shortcut now can be used to launch the game.
• Note that for this method you MUST run ClassicRO.exe often to make sure your client is receiving the appropriate patch files. When patching, every active RO client must be closed.
