when does soul linker spirit buff disappear? Tried to buff myself in Eden then warped to TI, my soul link buff was then gone

It should disappear when you change zone servers.
Examples where link/kaahi do stay upon map change:
Juperos Tunnel (the one with no mobs) and Juperos lvl1 (with the many Venatu)
Scaraba Tunnel and Scaraba Hall
El Disactes and the map below it
