Elemental towel will very likely become new Meta for AS chasers and performers when the bug fixed, the price could rose even further when the box left.
Laphine Staff will be beefed up big time when Laphine shield entered iRO
see my post in this thread for translated future Laphine Staff combo effect

I can see it for Chasers but not Performers, losing the CD reduction from Bow of Storms is a pretty big deal

Still doubtfull for chasers, Crimson Bow and FAW might be just equal

Edit: Though I'm still confused how the combo bonus works. Does it increase based on towel refine or bow refine?
Because if its Bow refined a +12 Bow will give 60% ranged increase + the increase from the towel, then you can add a Menblatt and an Archer Skel to propel it further.
No.
If Bow is +12 it will give 60% Severe Rainstorm AND 50% Arrow Storm increase NOT Ranged (As well as 1 ASPD at +10 if you care)
And the Towel's bonus itself stops at 7% RANGED increase (At +9, no need to get it any further)
And yea you can put Menblatt in the Towel and an AS to increase the damage further though gonna cost you 4 AS cards if you one in all four bows

Converters over-ride arrow element so you only need one of the bows. Unless it does a pseudo elemental thing... But yeah I tested with converters on eggs and it worked. IDK, Ash probably understands that better.
Arrow Storm and Severe Rainstorm get the same damage bonus.
I wish I understood the math better, cause then I'd calculate it. I just know that if it gets fixed it's going to do some nice damage
Edit: Currently my FAW + OAB + appropriate converts outdamages by about 5000. When the towel is fixed I believe it's gonna match if not over-take. If it doesn't do it by enough it's simply time to wait for the price to go up and then sell the towel.

There, fixed it for you
The skill damage boost is equal for both arrow storm and severe rainstorm
also dont forget elemental bow and its respective arrows combo provides extra 25% ranged damage boost plus the towel ranged bonus. It would be 32% ranged damage boost in total

I was wondering why it was doing close damage there for a second
Edit: I checked, converts over-ride arrow element :3

There's one small yet very important detail.
Gust/Earth/etc Bows base atk are incredibly low and they are lvl3 weapons
Your % boost can be enormous. If the atk im wich it is calculated is low, the result is still low.

after i remember orc archer bow and elven bow give ranged bonus +50% on low refine with default neutral type arrow
i'm not really interested with that towel

Crimson Bow is super expensive right now for some reason x.x~
Go ahead, Ash! Say it!

towel with menblatt and +12 bow with AS vs +12 crimson 2xAS and menblatt faw: towel combo does about 12% more damage
up to +15 refine the difference remains around the 12~14% mark
this is completely gearless besides those 2 gears alone. gear setups with % mods will favor the crimson setup way more, reducing or even inverting the gap between the two sets. As well as setups with flat atk(eddga proc, etc) will favor the towel combo.
If u card the crimson with 2x of the 20% cards(TG,race, element, etc) instead of 2AS (crimson has a lot of eATK to be affected by those cards)
ps: there's a 0.3% difference in dmg if u card one of these cards over AS card on the elemental bows. their atk is just too low, so i still consider AS on it.
at +12: towel has 6% more damage
at +15: difference is now 5%
if using specific carding (1race+1element, etc) the difference goes to around 4% at both refines.
and ultimately, with the purpose of MVPing, with 2x AK cards, the difference is barelly 1%.

Literally just gonna use it for leveling so a +12~15 Crimson Bow is a little overboard for leveling to 160towel with menblatt and +12 bow with AS vs +12 crimson 2xAS and menblatt faw: towel combo does about 12% more damage
