i just wonder,since the game is 1decade and half, do you think that the creator of ragnarok are very rich now because of the game??

Of course they made money.

You should read the story on what happen after the launch of this game, pretty interesting, lots of gossip, and they didn't made the money they suppose to.

Well this can be googled but I'll make a short summary for you.

 

The 'creators' of RO is Gravity Corp found by a couple of Koreans; they made tons of money in the beginning when Ragnarok was a huge boom around the world.

But they did some shady stuff like took out company's money as their own for 2~3 years so they went on with some court trials back in 2005.

 

While they case was going on, they sold the company to Japanese company and they went public; listed on NASDAQ.

But even so, they went through tons of litigation and trials to get rid of founding members because they keep pulling some dirty tricks on share holders.

Of course the value of the GRVY stock plummet down to like $3 per share from $50~75ish back in 2006.

And recent try of Ragnarok 2 was pure failure so they lost tons of money there.

 

So bottom line, the 'creator and founder' made their money and bounced.

The current owner is struggling but must be still making some money so that we are still playing this game
