What do future updates hold in store for us?  I saw the Nightmare Biolabs headgear but it didn't do a whole lot for shadow spell chasers.  This is quickly becoming my favorite class to play.

Anyway, thoughts about a Red Lichtern card in a +12 RWC Pin?  Waste?

 

talking about headgear, now we have new headgear, zaha doll hat [1];

so comparing rwc pin, very normal hat, and zaha doll hat, which is the best hat for autospell shadow chaser?

Have someone test on this?

I prefer RWC Pin but Ash has said that Zaha is #1

I use RWC Dagger + combo.  Can't see anything on that list being better.  From my understanding, it would lose out to 4x racial carded weapons but i refuse to carry that many weapons on me at any given time.

the difference between them is not too great, you can take the Pin if you preffer a constant boost

What do you guys think of Zakudam card? I was wondering how much MS or Thunder Storm damage a well geared 193 atskpd auto spell chaser will do against stripped opponent OR how much damage chain lightning will dish out if an Elvira card + Matk equips are used.

Edit:  I like Zakudam card a lot but I'll leave this one to someone more qualified to speak about PVP/WOE gear.

just check the VIP buffs, Celermine and Guarana candy. thats 193 aspd.

Gears not shown are +12 Temp agi AD4 and Mad Bunny[0], BDM[1]

I was playing with the stat calc and was wondering why I can't reach 193 aspd, then I noticed that Ashuckel had "aspd 5 and aspd% 22" under Mora enchants. 

 

With RWC knife or FQL being the best daggers (which aren't Mora enchant-able (?)) for autospell SC's, it seems that we still need aspd equipment like Cenere card? I was hoping to reach 193 aspd w/out that card so that I could focus more on +Matk equipment, and also due to the fact that Mad Bunny doesn't work in WoE/PVP environment, my plans are doomed.

 

I think I'll go back to the STR build for now

Probably emp breaking? I've played with it before in pvp using sword/mail breaker etc.

Might have a chance to get my hands on Brynhild, but I know its probably not worth using on a Shadow Chaser...right?

Its basically a Byrogue+RSX+some hp/sp armor

Yeah exactly, I don't think the hp boost/knockback is worth the ~10b.  Byrogue + Hidden Hero cloth probably makes more sense for a default armor.

What do you guys think about Krishnagar? I used it and compared my meteor dmg with a +9 FQL, somehow +9 Krishnagar deals a lot more damage 300 difference (i'm not sure if that doesn't change anything actually) What do you guys think?

 

And btw, I just started to play A.S.S. SC back and I don't have any idea with the setups since a lot of new things have been implemented and I just played back last month. Could anyone help me with these?   Currently, I have myself an +9 MBS, +9 old parasol ad4, +9 Krishnagar, +9 temp agi ad4/ld, bako tats and FAW of acid full aspd.

Krishnagar is a decent weapon as it gives you a lot of Matk that is very useful for leveling.

Just a thought, wouldn't Varetyr Spear be a good skill in conjunction with Storm Gust? how spammable is this skill? pretty sure you can get a decent amount of damage from it especially with Elvira card and Sprit king ring, freeze all enemies then cast Varetyr Spear.

And for Varetyr Spear + SG, I think it does not match up really well   My reason is that SG will push the mobs away from you and Varetyr Spear range is not that huge as it is a single target that spread to area 7x7 ( you know what I mean ) But that just my opinion

How much of a dps boost would it be to go from rwc set to zaha + 4x carded knives?  The later will be such a pain in the ass to make and use but if it's a significant increase in dps...

So, DP shows the new Doram related items as having been loaded in client. Two cards stand out as relevant to chasers (and matk characters in general.)

 

They are the matk equivalent of the "damage on enemy element" cards (like Vadon or Drainliar) but scale based on weapon refine.

Guys, I know this thread is kinda old but I need to make a few questions before I waste my money.

 

I am currently thinking about these gears below for my ASS SC:

 

 

Top hat: +12 Zaha doll [Vesper] (I know it will be hard to get MVP cards)

Mid hat: Black Devil Mask [Vesper]

Low Hat: CD in mouth

 

Armor: +12 Hidden Hero cloth [Byrogue]

 

Shields: +9 Mad Bunny Special (for general purposes), +7 Valkyrie Shield [Alice] (against MVPs that deal more magic damage) , +7 Round Buckler [Alice] (against mvps that deals more physical damage)

 

Garment: +9 Fallen Angel Wing [Cenere] (don't know what enchants I am looking for here to be honest)

 

Shoes: +9 Temporal AGI Boots [Runaway Magic/Delayafterattack 4]

 

Accessories: x1 Bakonawa Agimat Tattoo and ??? (don't know what to use as second accessory)

Here goes my questions:
1- From what I understand in the calc, I already have 192 aspd with buffs, so I don't really need Delay Attack on FAW. What could I use for enchants here?

2- What is a good option for my second accessory since another bako would be expensive and not necessary?

3 - I am still unsure how a +12 FQL and +12 Zaha Doll would perform against a +10 Commemorative Pin, +10 RWC Memory Knife and RWC Pendant. Did anyone make those calculations?  The second option is obviously way more cheaper and if the difference in damage not that big I will obviously not waste my money.

Yeah I was thinking about that before. I could put 4 crit cards since my build is the one that doesn't have double attack and has low dex but high luk. Since I already have around 192 aspd I could also grab a FAW with fatal enchant. The problem is it has significantly less base atk and no "illusion of Faceworm Queen" (which I still don't know if it brings a significant boost in damage).

 

I will make some tests with valk knife once I have the other items. 

What are my options for garment?
