We all know how it's a hassle to find a way to get rid of unwanted base exp to not level a character past 100 for it to get job levels as 3rd jobs in low TI before heading in mid TI so I've been thinking.

 

Is there a way to put an NPC that transfers all the current base exp and put it in job exp instead or the other way around?

The problem is that you still need to kill monsters to get counts.

Doubtful. Unless.. a consumable that blocks EXP gain from the beginning, I wonder if that's possible.

Yeah, I made a suggestion before and through discussion that idea seemed best for curtailing this kind of thing.

Mainly it's the effect on PvM maps I'm concerned with, as different people employ different methods to zero out their base EXP that affects other players (e.g. DBing outside towns where new players try to level).

Or just add Pharos Lighthouse to the Kafra warps and then wont be much an issue. =P

Pharos affects less players but since the Rogue job change quest is there best would be to implement guild tax 99~100%.

I like this idea but what if players don't have a guild or the guild lead isn't on to change their taxes to 100%? I think the best way is to add an NPC grim reaper in Nifleheim or a consumable maybe that will reduce your base exp to 0%.

 

Saves the trouble of buying dead branches or poison bottles.

you can use captain carroc npc (izlude port) to warp there, i think its available even if not vip

Making 100% (or 99?) would be great, first change to that figure since before Amatsu? to combat the problem of an inactive leader, how easy would it be to make it so you could edit your OWN characters tax? add and remove as you see fit?
